    INTRODUCTION
    • Environment issues have been of strong concern over the years. Global warming, climate
    change, greenhouse effect, pollutions, deforestation are some key world that describes the
    environment issues and problems.

    • Environmental awareness means being aware of the natural environmental and making
    choice that benefit the earth, rather than hurt it.

    • The message of the importance of public understanding of the environmental issues has not
    been properly conveyed to the audience. And though some maybe aware of the implications
    of not preserving the environment, but they do not feel the need to participate in ways of
    preserving and saving the environment. (Asian Social Science, March 2012)
    PROBLEM STATEMENTS
    • Lack of exposure and information
    - For example, they not involve in environmental education or any related
    campaigns and not use the technology; social media as a medium to spread the
    awareness.
    • Low level awareness
    - They do not take any serious action and responsibility towards environment and
    they thought this is just a small matter.
    • Lack of knowledge and practice
    - Promoting environmental awareness is a crucial part of being an
    environmental steward.
    - But the students not practice the “green practices” such as
    recycling program, be smart on transportation, watch your water
    and electric usage and more.
    • No encouragement from authorities
    - For instance, the higher organizations/NGOs/government did not
    motivate the student to participate in environmental action.
    SIGNIFICANT OF STUDY
    • Introduced a Recycling Program (3R)
    Recycling can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce
    the consumption of fresh raw materials, thereby reducing: energy usage, air
    pollution from incineration, and water pollution from landfilling.
    • Organizing environmental campaigns
    Higher authorities such as Government and NGOs should introduce many
    environmental awareness campaigns to student such as National
    Environmental Day, Earth Day and Friend of Environment by Jabatan
    Alam Sekitar.
    Student also can organized their own campaigns to attract others student to
    gain knowledge about our environment.
    • Introduced Environmental Education
    Environmental Education is an process that allows individuals to
    explore environmental issues, engage in problem solving and take
    action to improve the environment.
    • Take legal action
    Take a legal action to a person or an organization that harming the
    environment.
    METHODOLOGY
    • As the study will intend to see the environmental awareness among residential
    college students (KKTDI), so we will conduct survey for 30 students through
    questionnaire.
    CONCLUSION
    • From the questionnaire, we will know how many student that
    aware about the environmental issues nowadays. And from that
    we can take an action about it.
    • In a nutshell, the process of environmental education must be
    encourages in schools where the student become aware of
    environmental issue.
