    SENTENCES The function of simple past tense
    is to tell about activity that began in the
    PASIVE past and ended in the past too. We
    SENTENCES usually use simple past tense when the
    adverb of time in the sentence is specific;
    NOMINAL AND when the adverb is not specific we can
    VERBAL SENTENCE
    use simple perfect tense.

    1.To declare events or actions in the past at a certain
    ACTIVE time.
    SENTENCES -she got a letter last month (dia mendapat seucuk
    surat bulan kemarin)
    2.To declare habits-habits that performed in the past,
    PASIVE
    now is not done
    SENTENCES -I always woke up at 6 o’clock ( dia selalu bangun
    pukul 6 )
    NOMINAL AND 3.To declare that an event or action that is clearly
    VERBAL SENTENCE done in the past, although the timing is not
    mentioned
    -Fitri gave me a present ( Fitri memberiku sebuah

    - Last month = bulan lalu,etc
