Solving System of Linear Inequalities in Two Variables

This document discusses solving linear inequalities in two variables. It begins by stating the objectives of understanding linear inequalities in two variables, illustrating and graphing them, and solving problems involving them using inequality properties. It then provides rules for the online class regarding respect, effort, attitude, cooperation and honesty. The remainder of the document defines linear inequalities and rational functions, provides examples of evaluating rational functions, and includes a quick test evaluating rational functions.

you successful)
Memo Recall
Solving Linear
Inequalities in Two
variables
Linear Inequalities
An inequality in which each side is a polynomial of degree 1 or
constant.

Rational Functions
Example(s)
 𝑃 ( 𝑥 ) = 𝑥2 +5
1.

Numerator
Denominator  𝑄 ( 𝑥 ) = 𝑥+2

2.
  Numerator  𝑃 ( 𝑥 ) = 𝑥3 +2 𝑥−1
Denominator  𝑄 ( 𝑥 ) =6 𝑥2
Take Note:
The domain of a rational expression consists of the set of real numbers
except those expressions or polynomials that make the denominator equal
to zero.
