In order of severity, heat stress includes:


· heat rash;
· heat collapse;
· heat cramps;
· heat exhaustion; and
· heat stroke.

The most severe form of heat stress is heat stroke.

A person suffering from heat stroke requires medical attention urgently


and emergency services should be contacted as soon as possible.

While waiting for emergency services


to arrive you should:
· move the patient to a cool
environment;
· soak the patient’s clothing with
water;
· apply cold packs continuously;
· place them in a tub of cool water;
and
· circulate the air around the patient.

Do not give the patient any stimulants.

  Meeting purpose
  Monthly committee meeting will held between site
management and hourly employees at site , to share , discuses
all HSE highlights at month like unsafe actions/conditions,
Near misses and incidents lessons learnt in addition to aware
all site stuff by HSE plans and rules

1.0 Work permit procedure: Subcontractors


ENPPI highlighted that ENPPI Work permit procedure are
implemented at site. Permit is signed by area authority and
performing authority after joint site inspection to work area
and HSE comments
Permit type : Hot/cold work permit
Excavation work permit
Confined Space Entry Permit
Radiography Work permit

 2.0 Night shift Requirements : Subcontractors  
ENPPI declared that work at night shall not start before
comply with the following :-
1. Night shift safe method of statement shall be prepared
2. Royal commission permit –required
3. HSE team at night
4. Nurse –ambulance at night
5. Provide flood lighting for work areas and access road

3.0 Summer plan Implementation:- Subcontractors  


ENPPI highlighted that all subcontractors shall comply with
summer plan:-
1. Provide adequate No. of heat shelters
2. Provide cold water stations
3. Ice supply and storage
4. Electrolyte replacement drinks
5. Supervision and monitoring
6. Work time reschedule

4.0 Safety observation Reports Subcontractors  


All subcontractors personnel requested to report any unsafe
actions/conditions at site

5.0 Near-Miss lessons learned: Subcontractors  


Release of pressurized Water hose. All pressurized hoses
connections shall be secured by whip chains to avoid random
squeezing
