Led By Adani Group , Adani Godda Project has gained significant attention,
as it is one of the important thermal project which has the capacity of 1600
MW and will also be helping to strengthen geopolitical relationships
between Bangladesh and India. It is aimed at establishing a thermal power
plant and a captive coal mine in the Godda district of Jharkhand, India. It is
focused on illuminating various parts of Bangladesh with the power it will
generate, so far, these areas have been mostly deprived of power supply or it

thermal power plant. This is in addition to a captive coal mine to fuel the plant’s operations.

cooperation. The captive coal mine would ensure a reliable supply of fuel to the power plant.
