MANAGER Vs LEADER
MANAGER:
• One who handles, controls, or directs the activities of others in
organization.
• Anyone who uses management skills or holds the organization title of
“manager’’ having ability too.
Examples : A manager is person who is responsible for a part of a company,
they ‘manager’ the company. Managers may be in charge of a department
and the people who work in it. In some cases ,the manager is in charge of the
whole business. For example, a’restaurant manager is in charge of the whole
restaurant .

• Accepts the status quo, classic good soldier and dose the things right .
• He plans and budgets , Organize and allocates resources.
Leader
• Leadership of others in the accomplishment of common task’’ p is the
“process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and
support of others in the accomplishment of common tas’’
Examples: Leadership is the ability to inspire and motivate others. A great
leader is someone who can communicate a clear vision and purpose and
inspire their team to work towards that goal. An example of leader who
embodies this definition is Oprah winfrey.

Thought leaders harness the power of ideas to actualize change.
Courageous leader
Courageous leader bravely pursue a vision in the face of considerable opposition and
risks.
Inspirational leaders
Inspirational leaders promote change by the power of passionate commitment to ideas
and ideals.
Principles for leaders:
• You can not expect employees to do what you say if you do not do it
yourself
• Leaders must establish shared values and ethics at all level .
• Leaders must establish a clear vision for the future.
• Leaders must always consider the needs of all stakeholders.
• Leader must consult and delegate well.
