Features The information's could be retrieved in a systematic, less time consuming manner. Its the latest form of communication model next to paper and E-publications.     18 National and International Inst/ depts. web pages were reviewed -Review The findings MoHFW & National commission of population has relatively comprehensive information ,no updations and limited to govt. documents. UN agencies, developmental partners have provided Very limited information. PFI has massive collection of information in the library but not digitalized.

    To develop a Comprehensive, Updated and widely accessible Repository for Family Planning under NIHFW with the benefits of Universal information from any place, at any time, for free, in any language.

    PROJECT GOAL

    PROJECT OBJECTIVES
    Common Platform for easy sharing and exchange of information. Wider visibility of family planning issues. Prevent duplication of efforts (and waste of resources) for similar issues Informed- Evidence based decisions for better coherence between program needs and outcomes

    After the consent from director The source of Information in India-Abroad was identified-900. Contact Database Created-MS Access Correspondence letter framed. Contacts through Directors personal email, official letter pad used.

    Management System- For Storing, Controlling, Revising ,Semantically enriching and Publishing Docs Drupal Open source software was recommended. Drupal 7x version was tried and then change to 6x version.
