Relationships
What are your
qualifications in
purchasing a
product?
Communicating with others has
changed throughout the years. It has
evolved from personal speaking to
technological advancements such as
social media. However, there are
advantages and disadvantages to the use
of modern technology in terms of
communication.
The use of modern technology such
as cellphones allows us to reach those
people who are possibly miles away from
us. Through mobile phones, we can
contact them via text messaging or calls.
The internet has also given us an
opportunity to communicate via live video
chat.
This has been most advantageous to
those families whose members are
abroad. Sending letters take months to
get to and from senders and receivers
that it becomes more difficult to hear
news immediately. With today’s
technology, people take advantage of the
internet to continuously
stay connected with their loved ones
anytime.However, modern technology
also makes us lose connection with
others. As we get absorbed with
communicating with other people through
social media sites or chat messaging
services, we may have the tendency to
forget to personally communicate with
Dinners with friends are no longer a place
of chatter but instead a time of updating
their Facebook or Instagram stories.
Technology and communication are
partners in making the world more
connected. Do not use technology to
disconnect yourself to what is more
important.
