El Teide National Park is located on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. It protects El Teide, an active stratovolcano that is the highest point in Spain at 3,718 meters above sea level. The park has a variety of landscapes formed by layers of lava and volcanic ash over geological time. It contains many endemic species and offers hiking trails like the popular Siete Cañadas route to experience the volcano's unique geology and biology.

fauna
that
it
has.
Over
2.500
meters
of
