Koleoso says his first experience of that liminal reality came after his high school prom.

Juan Cotom-Lopez, a senior at Palisades, said in an email that he was worried about his school’s recovery, “including alternative forms of learning, prom, and graduation.”

He mentioned the "prom queen" in passing, but his examples all involved contrasting these two stereotypes of masculinity.

“A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers,” the billionaire added.

Dozens of tractors and farm vehicles were parked on the prom outside the conference at Venue Cymru.
