- تل بازي هو تل أثري يقع على الضفة اليسرى لبحيرة تشرين، وقد باشرت البعثة عملها أثناء حملة الإنقاذ لآثار حوض سد تشرين حيث تنقب في الموقع بعثة ألمانية بإدارة آينفاك وبيرتهولد، أسفرت عن سويات هامة تعود إلى الألف الثاني والثالث قبل الميلاد في الأكروبول، ربما يكون الموقع مدينة (بازيرو)، التي ذكرت في الحوليات الملكية الآشورية وساهمت البعثة في الكشف عن أحياء سكنية تعود إلى الألف الثالث قبل الميلاد التي غمرت لاحقا في مياه البحيرة. بعد ذلك انتقلت إلى أعلى التل حيث كشفت عن آثار رومانية وأسلامية في قمة التل. ومن الآثار الهامة في الموقع الجديد، الآثار التي تعود إلى الألف الثالث قبل الميلاد حيث كشفت في الموقع عن آثار سور القلعة ومعبد يعد من أكبر المعابد التي تعود إلى هذه الفترة والذي تبلغ أبعاده 38 × 16 م وما يزال العمل مستمرا للكشف عن بقايا المعبد والسور كما كشفت عن رقيم مسماري وحيد يظهر فيه اسم المدينة القديمة للموقع. - Tall Bazi, is an ancient Near East archaeological site in Raqqa Governorate of Syria in the same general area as Mari and Ebla. It is located on the Euphrates river in upper Syria, about 60 kilometers south of Turkey near the abandoned town of Tall Banat. Tall Bazi has been proposed as the location of Armanum, known from texts of the Akkadian period, during the reign of Naram-Sin of Akkad. It was occupied into the Mitanni period at which time it was destroyed. In the late Roman Empire a large building was constructed at the top of the main mound. (en)
