We report on transport properties of the controllable large area MoSO/Reduced graphene oxide(RGO) heterostructures electrodeposited on FTO substrates and its comparision with theoretical calculations on MoSo/Gr. I-V characteristics of the heterostructure made by P or n-type MoSO, exhibit Schottkey behavior in the interface similar to the MoS$_{2}$/Gr ones. Theoretical calculations show significant effects of lateral layer size as well as layer number in the electronic properties. In monolayer MoS$_{2}$/Gr by increasing the lateral size the energy gap disappears and the Fermi level shifts towards valence band. In the case of bilayer MoS$_{2}$ on bilayer Gr structure, the Fermi level shift is again towards valence band but, the gap is slightly higher than the monolayer structure. We found that the experimentally obtained results for n-type MoSO/RGO results are qualitatively in agreement with theoretical calculations of the MoS$_{2}$/Gr heterostructure. These results are beneficial to understand and design the high quality and low cost MoSO/RGO based electronic, optoelectronic and energy storage devices or cocatalysts.

We report a 51V nuclear magnetic resonance investigation of the frustrated spin-1/2 chain compound LiCuVO4, performed in pulsed magnetic fields and focused on high-field phases up to 55 T. For the crystal orientations H // c and H // b we find a narrow field region just below the magnetic saturation where the local magnetization remains uniform and homogeneous, while its value is field dependent. This behavior is the first microscopic signature of the spin-nematic state, breaking spin-rotation symmetry without generating any transverse dipolar order, and is consistent with theoretical predictions for the LiCuVO4 compound.

Abstract:
We measured the optical conductivity of superconducting LiFeAs. In the superconducting state, the formation of the condensate leads to a spectral-weight loss and yields a penetration depth of 225 nm. No sharp signature of the superconducting gap is observed. This suggests that the system is likely in the clean limit. A Drude-Lorentz parametrization of the data in the normal state reveals a quasipa…

No sharp signature of the superconducting gap is observed. This suggests that the system is likely in the clean limit. A Drude-Lorentz parametrization of the data in the normal state reveals a quasiparticle scattering rate supportive of spin fluctuations and proximity to a quantum critical point.

The results obtained by both experimental methods show a consistent picture of the superconducting condensate formation below $T_c$. An Eliashberg analysis of the data proves $d$-wave superconductivity and unitary-limit impurity scattering of the charge carriers below $T_{c}$. The derived electron-exchange boson interaction spectral function $I^2χ(ω)$ shows only marginal changes at the superconducting transition with the mass enhancement factor $λ$, the first inverse moment of $I^2χ(ω)$, being equal to 4.16 at 30 K and to 4.25 at 4 K.

Superconducting Pr$_2$CuO$_x$, $x\simeq 4$ (PCO) films with $T^\prime$ structure and a $T_c$ of 27 K have been investigated by various optical methods in a wide frequency (7 - 55000 cm$^{-1}$) and temperature (2 to 300 K) range. The optical spectra do not reveal any indication of a normal-state gap formation. A Drude-like peak centered at zero frequency dominates the optical conductivity below 150 K. At higher temperatures, it shifts to finite frequencies. The detailed analysis of the low-frequency conductivity reveals that the Drude peak and a far-infrared (FIR) peak centered at about 300 cm$^{-1}$ persist at all temperatures. The FIR-peak spectral weight is found to grow at the expense of the Drude spectral weight with increasing temperature. The temperature dependence of the penetration depth follows a behavior typical for $d$-wave superconductors. The absolute value of the penetration depth for zero temperature is 1.6 $μ$m, indicating a rather low density of the superconducting condensate.

Superconducting EuFe2(As0.82P0.18)2 single crystals are investigated by infrared spectroscopy in a wide frequency range. Below Tc=28K a superconducting gap forms at 2Δ_{0} = 9.5 meV = 3.8 k_B T_c causing the reflectivity to sharply rise to unity at low frequency. In the range of the gap the optical conductivity can be perfectly described by BCS theory with an $s$-wave gap and no nodes. From our analysis of the temperature dependent conductivity and spectral weight at T>T_c, we deduce an increased interband coupling between hole- and electron-sheets on the Fermi surface when $T$ approaches T_c.
