奈良県生駒市の50代の男性職員がおよそ50回にわたり、職場を抜け出して酒を飲んでいたとして市は、この職員を停職５か月の懲戒処分にしました。 おととしの秋ごろから週に１回から２回程度、30分から１時間ほど職場を抜け出して飲酒を続けていたとみられ、回数は１年ほどの間に合わせておよそ50回に上るということです。 市の調査に対し、この職員は「平成24年ごろ、人間関係に悩み病気で休んで以降、酒に頼るようになった。復職後、さらに酒の量が増えた」と話し勤務中の飲酒を認めているということです。 また問題が発覚したあと、アルコール依存症と診断されて治療を受け、現在、症状は治まっているということです。 生駒市の増田剛一市長公室長は記者会見で「公務員としてあるまじき行為で市民の信頼を裏切りおわびします」と陳謝しました。
