An academic researcher turned author services entrepreneur, I am the Founder and CEO of Lex Academic. We are a global proofreading and translation firm spearheaded by researchers from the world's top universities. To date, we have edited over 15 million words and have helped academics worldwide publish in the top journals in their field.
I am also writing up a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. My PhD explores the psychology of leading by example.
I obtained my undergraduate degree (First-Class Honours) in Philosophy at King's College London, writing my research dissertation on Platonic moral psychology. I was awarded the prestigious Keeling Scholarship at UCL to pursue my ancient interests further on their two-year MPhil Stud. However, since my goal was to specialise (sooner rather than later) on Kant's legal philosophy, I instead chose to pursue a one-year Masters in Ancient Philosophy at the University of Oxford. There, I wrote a research thesis (awarded Distinction) on Socratic moral psychology.
I have since been offered scholarships valuing over $250k to complete my doctoral studies. These include a Philosophical Quarterly Scholarship at the University of St Andrews, an AHRC Scholarship from the University of Reading, the Onora O'Neill Scholarship from Newnham College, University of Cambridge, and the Boustany Cambridge Pembroke Scholarship in Philosophy at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge. In the meantime, I have published on Kant and Plato's moral psychology. Furthermore, I have written for a general audience for Aeon and Philosophy Now.
From July to September 2022, I shall be interning at the Boustany Foundation in Monaco.
I set up Lex Professional Services Ltd. in 2019 following 10 years' experience in the author services space. I was shortlisted for the 2021 Parmee Prize for Entrepreneurship at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge.
