Quality Circles (a people building concept) in a data processing environment

Abstract

Quality Circles, the Japanese concept of participative management which many management experts believe is the key to Japan's productivity gains, ties all three topics together in the fastest growing productivity improvement strategy in our country. QCs or Circles as they are sometimes called, have caught on in the U.S at a breathtaking rate.
This paper provides a brief overview of the Quality Circles concepts its origin and its application.
