- I focus my research on the policies and politics of neighborhood change, where I examine both the broad political shi... moreI focus my research on the policies and politics of neighborhood change, where I examine both the broad political shifts that produce neighborhood change in addition to neighborhood activism and community development practices, including faith-based efforts, that shape the everyday lives of neighborhood residents. My work has focused on the politics around urban redevelopment projects, housing, and schooling, primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Currently, I am developing a comparative project with colleagues in Hong Kong and Pretoria, South Africa.edit
