The IJVR actively solicits papers from professionals in the fields of immersive technologies to share the results of research and innovations with colleagues and interested parties around the rest of the world. We hope the IJVR to be of extraordinary value to the profession. IJVR accepts research papers which present primary and unpublished studies, with a maximum word count of 8,000. The following format is recommended: 1) Abstract, 2) Introduction, 3) Related work, 4) Materials and Methods, 5) Results, 6) Discussion, 7) Conclusion and perspectives.
Although some literature reviews have been published in the past and still recently, this category of article is no longer our main focus. However, the editorial board reserves the right to consider articles that would provide a comprehensive overview of an emerging topic of great importance and clear interest to the community.
Preparing your article for submission
Please read the following information carefully to ensure that we review your paper as quickly as possible. The editorial team reserves the right to return articles that have not been submitted in accordance with these instructions. Before uploading your article, please review the following:
Formatting
Articles should be divided into clearly defined sections: Title - Authors names, their institutions, cities, and states or nations - Abstract - 4 to 6 keywords - Article Text - Acknowledgments (if needed) - References (with APA style) - Appendices (if needed) - Biographies (with portrait photo and email address for each person). Manuscript can be submitted for evaluation as a non-formatted PDF file, but we recommend you to use the template file available below (guidelines are presented in the template): Template for Word

Article: doc/docx files are our preferred file type to be submitted as a single file
Figures and Tables: should be images or Word files.

Submission Preparation Checklist

- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- If authors prefer a non-formatted PDF file rather than using the word template, please follow this guidelines: the text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
