Problems related to human rights in Indonesia are criminal acts of human trafficking committed by corporations. Trafficking in persons is a modern form of human slavery and is also one of the worst forms of treatment of violations of human dignity. However, the development has difficulties with law enforcement related to corporations that commit criminal acts of trafficking. The research method used is a normative juridical research method using secondary data to be analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study show that corporations as subjects of criminal law can be equated with humans, because there are rights and obligations given by law and therefore corporate skills are also equated with human skills. Regulations regarding corporate responsibility are regulated in Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning Eradication of Criminal Act of Human Trafficking, corporations can be held liable if they commit criminal acts of trafficking by fulfilling the requirements of criminal liability ...

Telecom today has become an essence of life. Everywhere we see people using their smart phones for calling, checking email or accessing internet. To handle all these kinds of services without any intrusion is a very challenging task. This study deals with software testing which helps to ensure the quality of service to the end user. Software testing is an essential part in the software development process. Software development for telecom domain might not look as safety critical as of an airplane or nuclear reactor but it is arguably more complex. The main focus of this study is to provide automation to the unit testing of different types of radio connections that can be assigned to the end user based on the requested service and capacity of the 3G network. This research is sponsored by Ericsson to improve the testing of User Equipment Radio Connection Handling system that controls multiple possible radio connection configurations. This research attempts to identify and test all possible transitions between radio connection states. This will improve the existing manual state testing system, where changes in connection states cause dramatic impacts on test fixtures. As a solution, an automatic test case executor is proposed that generates possible transitions, which are later executed and verified automatically.

There are many studies in social sciences, such as traffic accident analysis, in which the event counts may be characterized by a large number of zero observations. In this article, a proposed model that takes into account both the zero-count state and the nonzero-count state is used to describe the traffic accident phenomenon. The probability of the zero-count state (p) and the mean number of event counts (µ) in the non-zero-count state may depend on the covariates. Sometimes, p and µ are unrelated, while at other times, p may assume a simple function of µ.In proposing the model, different types of traffic accidents at signalized intersections in Singapore were investigated. The results demonstrate that the zero-altered probability process is an appropriate technique for modeling specific types of accidents in which the data contain many zero counts.

Unretted and retted bark and stem of Corchorus olitorius L and retted stem of C capsularis L, two species of jute, were analysed for ash, lignin, low molecular weight carbohydrates and polysaccharides. The results are compared with those from C capsularis published earlier. The unretted bark and stem of C olitorius contained less low molecular weight carbohydrates than the corresponding fractions of C capsularis. C olitorius bark contained less cellulose and more hemicellulose than C capsularis, particularly after retting. Xylans isolated from the retted fibre and stem of C olitorius were found to have a similar composition to those from C capsularis.

We demonstrate a wireless data link at 300 GHz employing a broadband PIN photodiode as the emitter. With a symbol rate of 32 GBd and QPSK modulation error-free transmission at a gross data rate of 64 Gbit/s is achieved. For 16QAM modulation, forward error correction enables a net data rate of 100 Gbit/s, which is among the highest values reported so far.

We demonstrate polarization-insensitive optical phase conjugation of a 300-GHz wide 1.6-Tb/s superchannel without a shift of the occupied wavelength band. We experimentally achieve up to 0.7 dB Q-factor improvement after 800-km transmission using eight PDM-16QAM sub-channels.

We propose a polarization-insensitive distributed all-optical subcarrier multiplexing by fiber frequency conversion using two orthogonally-polarized local subcarrier signals. Its effect is demonstrated by in-line signal addition at multiplexing node with less than 0.5-dB polarization dependence.

We experimentally and numerically show that the Brillouin back scattering can result in signal distortions in diversity loop-based polarization insensitive single-pump fiber-optical parametric amplifiers, limiting the distortion-free gain to 10-15 dB for typical highly nonlinear fibers.

We experimentally demonstrate the use of data-aided digital signal processing for format-flexible coherent reception of different 28-GBd PDM and 4D modulated signals in WDM transmission experiments over up to 7680 km SSMF by using the same resource-efficient digital signal processing algorithms for the equalization of all formats. Stable and regular performance in the nonlinear transmission regime is confirmed.

We experimentally generate 28-GBd 6-ary polarization-shift keying quadrature phase-shift keying (6PolSK-QPSK) signals by utilizing a high-speed 4-channel digital-to-analog converter and an integrated dual-polarization I/Q modulator. In WDM transmission experiments over up to 4800 km standard single-mode fiber, we compare the performance of 126-Gb/s 6PolSK-QPSK and 112-Gb/s polarization-division multiplexing (PDM) QPSK signals. Furthermore, we discuss the implications of applying an inner Reed-Solomon RS(511,455) forward error correction code in order to correct burst errors due to the anti-Gray mapping of 6PolSK-QPSK.

ABSTRACT When software systems grow large and complex, understanding the dependencies in the system and making changes become difficult. History-based analysis of change dependencies (i.e. co-changing relation among entities) can facilitate system understanding, maintenance and prediction of evolutionary trends. In this paper we propose techniques to understand evolution in software change dependencies. Version repository data of Android platform is used as a case study and analysis of change dependencies is prese nted. Experimental analysis shows that the proposed approach provides an interesting view of software evolution in the context of change dependencies that reveals previously unknown facts about changing files in the system.
