One species is described as new: Platylabus karelicus Riedel, sp.n.

Key to all species of Batakomacrus is provided. The new data on distribution of B. caudatus (Holmgren) is given.

Cylloceria arizonica Dasch, 1992 is reported for the first time from the state of Morelos in Mexico. Описываются новый вид Cylloceria tropicana sp. nov. из Южной Мексики и ранее неизвестный самец C. alvaradoi Gauld, 1991 из Гондураса. Keys to Palaearctic species of the genera Cylloceria and Allomacrus are given in this communication. A total of 20 Palaearctic species are reviewed, with 15 of these reported from Russia, including 4 new species of the genus Cylloceria and 3 species of the genus Allomacrus. The types of new species and most of the material examined are deposited in the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg (ZIN), except for that part of the material which is deposited at the Zoological Museum, Helsinki University.

A new genus is proposed for one new species from Southern Finland, Fennomacrus koponeni gen. et sp. n. Its relationships and systematic position are briefly discussed. Four other new species, Plectiscidea aquilonia sp. n., P. fuscifemur sp. n., P. helleni sp. n. and Eusterinx (Holomeristus) fennoscandica sp. n., from Fennoscandia are also described. The hitherto unknown female of Helictes fabularis Rossem is described as well.

The general data about the diversity of Hymenoptera in the Russian Far East and regions, classification, collecting methods, as biological patterns and economic value of parasitic Hymenoptera are given. The section of each 69 families includes short data and annotated catalogue of genera and species are recorded from the Russian Far East. For each valid genus the type species, synonymy, short data and number of species are given. For each valid species the synonymy, known host plants, hosts or preys and distribution (general and from Russian Far East) are recorded. The book illustrated by black and white total figures of included 69 families. The large bibliography helps to image the level of study of each family. Index of Latin names of Hymenoptera and their hosts and prey (in total 19700 names) will be useful fo...

Altogether two genera and twenty nine species of Ichneumonidae previously not recorded from the present territory of Finland have been found to occur there. Some additional records from the adja-cent territories are reported. Andrei Humala, Forest Research Institute, Karelian Centre of the Russian Acad-emy of Sciences. Pushkinskaya Str.
