Two new minute egg parasitoid wasp species belonging to the genus
Trichogramma (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae), T. chagres sp.
nov. and T. soberania sp. nov., were found in a tropical lowland
rainforest in Panama, Central America. In this paper, we describe,
illustrate and discuss the biology and morphological and molecular
characterization of the two new Trichogramma wasp species. Both
species were collected from eggs of passion vine butterflies, Agraulis
vanillae vanillae (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Heliconiinae) and unidentified
Heliconiini species, laid on different Passiflora species
(Malpighiales: Passifloraceae). A female T. soberania sp. nov. wasp
was observed on the wings of a female Heliconius hecale melicerta
butterfly caught in the wild. This suggests that this species may
occasionally be phoretic on adult female butterflies to find suitable
host eggs. Our study adds two more species identifications to the
scarce record of Trichogramma wasps from the widespread
Heliconiini butterflies in Central America.

Abstract—A morpho-biological review and analysis of the Palaearctic species of the robusta group of the genus
Eurytoma is presented. The diff erences between the species of the robusta group and the other species-groups of
the genus Eurytoma are described. The hosts of the species of the robusta group and their geographical distribution are
listed. A key to 62 Palaearctic species of the robusta group is compiled. A new species, Eurytoma uzbekistanica sp. n.
belonging to the robusta species-group and morphologically closest to Eu. nochurae Zerova is described from Uzbekistan.
Photographs of the types of Eu. uzbekistanica sp. n., Eu. herbaria Zerova, Eu. ibaraca Zerova, Eu. paramygdali
Zerova et Fursov, Eu. armenica Zerova et Fursov, and Eu. nagoya Zerova, and also of the non-type specimens of
Eu. dentata Mayr, Eu. robusta Mayr, and Eu. pyrrhidii Erdös are given. The holotype of the new species and material
of the other species discussed are deposited in the collection of I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the National
Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

wo species of egg parasitoids of the trichogrammatine genus Monorthochaeta Blood, 1923 are recorded in Ukraine: M. nigra Blood and M. galatica Nowicki. Monorthochaeta adanaensis Doğanlar, 2002 syn. n. is considered a junior synonym of M. nigra Blood, 1923. The ovipositing behavior, egg and larva of M. nigra, a parasitoid of eggs of tortoise beetles (Cassidinae), were studied. Despite differences in habitus on intervals after oviposition, only one larval instar with variable body shape and length is reported for M. nigra.

in the scientifi c collections of the Institute of Zoology (Kyiv, Ukraine) by the end of 2022.
About 34,000 animal species belonging to 8,424 genera, 96 orders, 20 classes and 8 phyla are
represented in 627 systematic collections (Chapter I). About 22,000 specimens are represented
by type specimens (holotypes, paratypes, lectotypes) of about 4,200 animal species. Holotypes
of 1,379 species are kept in the collections of the Institute of Zoology. About 16,000 animal
species deposited in the scientifi c collections of the Institute of Zoology are only partially identifi
ed to diff erent taxonomic levels due to their archival storage. Th e complete list of systematic
collections of the Institute of Zoology is given together with the names of their scientifi c
curators (Chapter 1). Th e list of samples and taxonomic characteristics of inclusions from the
Rivne amber collections is presented (Chapter II). Th e list of comparative faunistic collections
(chapter III), and the list of histological and morphoanatomical collections (chapter IV) give
general data on various zoological subjects under current scientifi c research.

Philachyra Walker, 1971 is considered to be a separate genus and resurrected from synonymy
with Tetramesa Walker 1848. An illustrated redescription of Philachyra maderae
(Walker, 1852) comb. n. is provided based on the collection material from Ukraine, Russian
Federation, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Turkey. Collection is deposited at the I.I. Schmalhausen
Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, Ukraine. Its nomenclature
is discussed and Philachyra maderae (Walker, 1849) comb. n. is proposed as a valid
name, with the synonymy listed. Philachyra diff ers from the Tetramesa by the presence
of very shiny surface of the body without expressed sculpture; the presence of long setation
over the whole body, and the development of two generations, wingless (spring), and
winged (summer) and many additional characters.

Peculiarities of application, structure and construction of modified 3-storey beehive of Vasyl Priyatelenko are described in detail. The aim of study: 1) To test the efficiency and productivity of innovative construction of Vasyl Priyatelenko's beehive; 2) To test and develop efficient beekeeping technology on the base of application of Vasyl Priyatelenko's beehive; 1) To describe the peculiarities of healthy beehive. Material and methods. Original, innovative construction of Vasyl Priyatelenko's beehive has been tested in the private apiary near Kyiv (Ukraine) during 11 years (2012-2023). Forty beehives with 40 bee colonies (Ukrainian steppe race) were used for this study. Three modifications of the hive with original Priyatelenko's comb frames have been designed and elaborated. Original construction of Priyatelenko's comb frames with unique 'n'-shaped cross-section metal top bars was described and presented in several publications and meetings [1-9]. The beehive has the Ukrainian Patent №64536 and was registrated on 10.11.2011 [1]. The influence of various details of the hive designed by Vasyl Priyatelenko and frames with a metal upper bar on various aspects of the life of a honey bee colony in the hives was studied: 1) on the intensity of development of the bee colony; 2) the use of "natural supersedue" queen replacement in bee colonies; 3) swarming intensity and swarm size; .4) to change the ventilation of the bee hive and bee colony during hot periods of honey collection and during cold periods of wintering; 5) on the intensity and method of storage of nectar and honey within; 6) on the volume of honey collection; 7) on the intensity of infection with Varroa mite and methods of treatment; 8) on wintering conditions and exit from overwintering. Results. Eleven years of tests and observations showed us that tested model of beehive is close to the natural construction of the honeybee nest in a tree hollows and it allows the bee colony to develop in a natural way. We propose and describe here the original algorithms, or so called formula of the natural honeybee nest that is applied in Vasyl Priyatelenko's beehive. This innovative beehive has the following characteristics: 1) three movable storeys with a removable stand and roof; 2) shallow bottom body and a deeper central hive body which act as brood chambers, and a shallow standard upper super for storage of the honey; 3) solid metal 'n' crosssection top bars on the frames; 4) the bee space between the frames in the storeys both below and above the middle box is absent or only 3,0 mm; 5) the top bars of the frames in the super are covered with a transparent plastic or metal sheet; 6) no bee space between the top bars of the super frames and the plastic or metal cover sheet; 7) cross-ways positioning of narrow-wide frames that are set across, i.e. at right angles, to frames of other chamber; 8) the presence of integral beeswax connection of all the combs inside the honeybee nest; 9) free movement of all the individuals of the honey bee colony inside the nest; 10) the distance between the centers of two neighboring honeycombs is 37,0 mm; 11) the spacing between the honeycomb and side wall of beehive body is 7,5 mm; 12) the honey super is covered with a standard wooden roof. Three original modifications of the hive designed by V. Priyatelenko were developed, manufactured and tested: 1) a hive of 3 bodies with 24 Priyatelenko's frames (8+8+8 frames in 3 chambers) includes: lower body-8 square Priyatelenko's frames, size 265 mm X 265 mm; the middle body-8 Ukrainian narrow-high frames, 300 mm wide X 435 mm high, and the upper
