    In this study, the usability of essential oils as fuel additives in internal combustion diesel engines was investigated.Salvia candidissiman was preferred as essential oil raw material due to its oil efficiency.The essential oil of salvia candidissima plant biomass was obtained by hydro distillation method.The essential oil obtained was then converted into biofuel by transesterification reaction.Biofuel is added to diesel fuel at a rate of 10% by volume and is named [SB-10].DF] and [SB-10] fuels were tested in a variable compression ratio diesel engine at fixed 1550 rpm.Results: It showed that the [SB-10] fuel produced 2.46 Nm more torque and 4.29 HP more power than DF fuel. When looking at the combustion data, 4.99% in the pressure values of the fuel [SB-10], 16.72% in gas temperatures, % in the rate of increase in pressure. 22.84 and 2.85% more in cumulative heat release values.

    The effects of mixing pure vegetable oils with diesel fuels and using them in diesel engines were explored in this study. Due to its great production, Chorella protactes, a microalgae species, was employed as a vegetable oil. First, pure microalgae oil was combined with 5% (DSYK-5) and 10% (DSYK-10) diesel reference fuel (RDF) by volume for this experiment. The resulting blended fuels and diesel reference fuel were put to the test in a four-cylinder, four-stroke diesel engine at 1500 rpm and various loads. With the use of pure oil, the results showed a 4.64 percent rise in specific fuel consumption (SFC). CO emissions reduced by 9.05 percent on average when DSYK-5 fuel was used, while CO emissions increased when DSYK-10 fuel was used. HC emissions reduced by 4.6 percent on average when blended fuels were used, whereas NOx emissions increased by 3.13 percent on average. Mikro algler yenilebilir kaynaklar arasinda olmadigindan insan gidasinin tedarikini zorlastirmazlar.Bu calismada mikroalglerde transesteri kasyon metodu ile biyodizel uretilmis ve dizel yakiti ile cesitli oranlarda karistirilarak tek silindirli motorda test edilmistir.

    Essential oils were investigated as fuel additives in this research. Origanum Acutidens is used to make essential oil. In the oil recovery process, hydro distillation was used. With the transesterification reaction, the obtained oil was converted into biofuel. In a specific proportion, biofuel was combined with reference diesel fuel. Critical oils were studied for their effect on engine efficiency and combustion parameters. A Kirlaskor four-stroke diesel engine was used to test the mixed fuel and comparison diesel fuel. Engine tests were carried out at various loads and at a steady engine rpm. As compared to diesel fuel, the mixture fuel provided 1.63 percent more effective engine power and 1.31 Nm more engine torque. The maximum gas pressure, maximum cumulative heat dissipation, maximum average gas temperature, and maximum net heat emission rates all increased dramatically when the combustion data was analyzed.     ABSTRACT The biofuel capacity of the plant obtained through hybridization (tekin-2017) was explored in this report. Firstly, hydro-distillation method was used to extract oil. And transformed by transesterification into Biofuel. Biofuel was mixed in 5% (HB-5) volume with diesel fuel. On a four-stroke diesel generator engine, HB-5 fuel and reference diesel (Df) fuel were tested. The tests were conducted at constant engine speed (1500) and at various loads (3.52–7.04-10.56 kW). HB-5 fuel reduced Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrocarbon (HC) emissions while increasing Azotoxide emission (NOx).In the data of combustion. Cumulative heat release (CHR), mass-burn rate (MFR), average gas temperature (AGT), and heat release rate (HRR) decreased for HB-5 fuel. Cylinder pressure (CP) and density of Knock (KD) increased.
