We have identified the SNP Genotyping kit rs9642880 manufactured by Thermo fisher using the Roche Light Cycler480 qPCR instrument. Generally, qPCR instrument systems can only be utilized for reagent kits manufactured by the same company, but with a few modification procedures, the ThermoFisher SNP Kit can be applied for the LightCycler 480 instrument. The selection of rs9642880 is due to an increase in bladder cancer cases in Indonesia. This study successfully identified Thermo Fisher SNP kit by LightCycler480 and the average genotype found in the student respondents was heterozygous GT by 48%.

Dari segi farmakologi dan kedokteran, perlu diteliti bagaimana efektivitas Nigella sativa sebagai anti inflamasi pada sel mast, sehingga berpotensi sebagai obat asma. On January 7, 2020, China identified pneumonia of unknown etiology as a grew type of coronavirus (coronavirus disease, COVID-19).Case report: A 39-year-old woman – health care worker - came to the hospital with the chief complaint of coughing three days earlier. Dry cough with no phlegm, fever and no shortness of breath. There are also no other complaints. On physical examination found no abnormalities. There is no history of traveling abroad but there is a history of contact with sufferers of COVID-19 when treating patients. Patients diagnosed as acute respiratory infection were given cefixim 2 x 200 mg for 5 days, paracetamol if necessary and vitamins. The holy city of Makkah is one of the big cities in Saudi Arabia that is densely populated, especially during the Hajj season. In recent years, air pollution in Makkah has been a growing problem due to construction activities, motor vehicle fumes, rising temperatures, rainfall and humidity. The higher the level of air pollution exposure, the more it has an impact on human health, especially the lungs and airways. The health impacts associated with air pollution include an increase in the incidence of respiratory infections, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other lung diseases. Better knowledge of the correlation between air pollution and lung and airway diseases will contribute to developing more strategies to reduce air pollution in the holy city of Makkah.

Latar belakang : Faktor yang menyebabkan timbulnya keloid adalah sifat yang diturunkan secara autosomal dominan, akibatnya terjadi tidak keseimbangan antara fibrogenesis dan degradasi sel (apoptosis). Dari literatur yang ada saat ini, belum ada laporan yang menunjukkan keloid terjadi pada jaringan kulit penis. Belum ada pula laporan bahwa orang yang memiliki bakat keloid sekalipun, pada pasca sirkumsisi timbul keloid. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah gen atau protein yang menjadi penekan timbulnya keloid pada jaringan kulit penis, yang berbeda dengan jaringan kulit di lokasi yang lain. Gen p53 adalah salah satu protein regulator yang berperan dalam timbulnya keloid yang berfungsi mendorong terjadinya apoptosis pada saat terjadi peningkatan proliferasi sel fibroblas pada penyembuhan luka. Background: Silica, asbestos and coal dust are associated with pneumoconiosis in mining workers. The International Labor Organization (ILO) reports that 30-50% of workers in developing countries are diagnosed with pneumoconiosis. This study aims to identify pneumoconiosis in limestone mining workers in Indonesia. Method: This cross-sectional study involved 73 subjects of limestone mining workers in Citatah Village, West Bandung Regency, Indonesia. Two conclusions were similar from three AIR-Pneumo certified photo readers by blind reading and using the ILO guidelines. Result: Pneumoconiosis was found in 11/73 (15.1%). The median age of the pneumoconiosis group was older than the non-pneumoconiosis group (51 [33-63] vs. 37.5 [18-85] age in years, p = 0.013). All subjects in the pneukoniosis group worked> 6 years (p = 0.001).
