    : Analysis of Ocean Surface Currents of Gulf of Bone in 2006 – 2010. It has been studied the distribution of ocean surface currents in the Gulf of Bone in which the study was to describe the spatial and temporal variability of flow velocity in the waters of the Gulf of Bone in the year 2006-2010, the data used is the 10 meter wind data which is extracted from the grib data (binary grid) . In the present study is expected to provide information about the spatial and temporal variability of sea surface current data is the basis for further research. Distribution patterns of sea surface currents in January to April is generally dominant from the east, while in the month of May to December of the dominant West. from January to December is generally low (0-5 cm / s), but in January in Zone I and Zone II is quite high with values ranging between 25-40 cm/ s).     Daerah karst yang berada di Dusun Salenrang Desa Rammang-rammang Kabupaten Maros terdapat mata air pertemuan antara air asin dan air tawar yang tidak saling bercampur satu sama lain yang digunakan masyarakat sebagai salah satu sumber air bersih pada saat musim kemarau. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian dilakukan guna mengetahui komposisi mineral dari tanah pertemuan air asin dan air tawar di Dusun salenrang  serta  pada mata air Ma’rung, dengan cara mengkarakterisasi sampel tanah dengan menggunakan alat XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) dan SEM-EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy-Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy). Adapun hasil uji SEM-EDS diperoleh adalah silikon, aluminium, dan besi, dimana molar oksida besi yang terbentuk yaitu SiO2, Al2O3 dan FeO, serta struktur yang terbentuk dominan adalah monoklinik. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji XRD diperoleh hasil dari kedua sampel tanah adalah berbentuk kristal, dimana dominan komposisinya adalah sanidine.

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian “ ex post facto” yang bersifat deskriptif mengenai Identifikasi konsepsi pada konsep-konsep Usaha, Gaya dan Energi dengan menggunakan CRI ( Certainty Of Response Index ). Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 96 dari 123 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Malangke Barat dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling  . Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah soal-soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 22 soal yang telah terseleksi melalui uji validitas. Siswa menjawab soal tersebut disertai dengan pembubuhan angka CRI (0-5) sesuai dengan tingkat kepercayaan siswa. Siswa dapat dinyatakan mengalami miskonsepsi atau tidak tahu konsep dengan cara membandingkan benar tidaknya jawaban pertanyaan yang diberikan dengan nilai CRI yang diisi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa paling cenderung mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep pengaruh gaya gravitasi terhadap kecepatan benda yang massanya berbeda namun keduanya jatuh bebas (84%) dengan CRIS 4,2 dan fb 0,12.     Learning media is the one of the most factor in supporting successfully in the learning process. The purpose of this interactive media is preparing students to improve skills in laboratory practice without need for assistance and are not bound by time and place. The subject of this study was 30 students grade XI IPA SMAN 2 Takalar. This paper discuss about the development of learning media based in theory of gas kinetic. This media designed to assist students in learning independently. This media made using four software, they are Microsoft word, Snagit Editor, Macromedia Flash Player and Lectora. This media are interactive, dynamic and could support the users desires to learn and understand course of gas theory. The development produce followed the four D models. Consisted of definition phase, design phase, development phase and disseminate phase. The results showed 1) the media were valid and reliable, 2) learning tools as well as hardcopy and softcopy which links to website 3) activity learners above 80% and 4) according to the test results, the concept of comprehension of student was improved than before given interactive media.

    Penelitian tentang identifikasi material bawah permukaan Kecamatan Bontocani Kabupaten Bone dengan metode geomagnet telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebaran material bawah permukaan Kecamatan Bontocani Kabupaten Bone. Lokasi penelitian berada pada koordinat 05o9’–04o54’ LS dan 119o54’–120o6’ BT. Proses akuisisi data dilakukan pada enam lintasan dengan satu base station menggunakan alat Proton Procession Magnetometer (PPM) Geotron G5. Selanjutnya, dilakukan koreksi harian dan koreksi IGRF 42918,2 nT dan diperoleh nilai kemagnetan pada rentang -700 nT-1600 nT. Dan selanjutnya dimodelkan dengan aplikasi Surfer 10 hingga tampak variasi anomali kemagnetan terendah -700 nT-100 nT hingga tertinggi 1100 nT-1600 nT. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif bersifat korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi spasial dan temporal seismotektonik wilayah Pulau Jawa. Data gempa diperoleh dari 2 katalog ISC (interntional seismological centre) GCMT (global centroid moment tensor) dan LIPI dari tahun 1935-2014.     This research was applied to identify the condition of coral reefs in Small Lae-lae Island by using SPOT-4’s image. The data was obtained from LAPAN Pare-Pare South Sulawesi. The aim of this research was to describe the condition and distribution of corral reefs and the percentage of corral reef closure around Lae-Lae Island Small. The data were used are recording image data from SPOT-4 in October 2011, which are analyzed by using the Lyzenga Transformation method through Er Mapper 7.0 program. The results showed that the coral reefs of Lae-Lae Small Island were mostly spread around the west coast 340 m 2 , and the rest spread around the east 264 m 2 , north 225 m 2 , and south coast 261 m 2 , within 1090 m 2 area and percentage of the coral reef closure of Lae-Lae Small Island are 87,20%.     Tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini adalah dikembangkannya suatu Website Sistem Informasi Penelitian di Universitas Negeri Makassar yang dapat diakses oleh berbagai pihak yang terkait dengan penelitian kapan saja dan dimana saja tanpa adanya batasan waktu dan lokasi sehingga keterbukaan informasi penelitian dapat terlaksana. Target khusus yang dicapai dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah terciptanya suasana keterbukaan informasi penelitian. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka proses pengambangan sistem informasi ini akan menggunakan Model Pengembangan Plomp (1997) terdiri dari fase investigasi awal (prelimenary investigation); fase desain (design); fase realisasi/konstruksi (realization/construction); fase tes, evaluasi dan revisi (test, evaluation and revision); dan implementasi (implementation). Pengembangan sistem informasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP berbasis pada Framework CodeIgniter dengan basis data MySQL.

    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang analisis kerentanan Bendungan Ponre-ponre Kabupaten Bone berdasarkan pengukuran mikrotremor dengan metode HVSR Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh nilai kerentanan terhadap gelombang seismik Bendungan Ponre-Ponre . Objek penelitian adalah Bendungan Ponre-ponre Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan seperangkat Portable Seismograph TDL 303 S untuk merekam getaran. Pengukuran dilakukan pada 10 titik yang terdiri dari 5 titik di badan bendungan dan 5 titik pada sekitarnya. Data mikrotremor pada gedung diolah menggunakan software Geopsy dengan metode HVSR (Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio). Hasil yang diperoleh, nilai frekuensi dominan adalah 0,43 -8,88 Hz, sedangkan untuk nilai periode dominan adalah 0,11-2,32 yang menunjukkan bahwa batuannya merupakan batuan alluvial.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik sebaran anomali magnetik dari mineral dari bawah permukaan serta mengidentifikasi komposisi unsur sampel batuan dan morfologi permukaan di area panas bumi Desa Makula menggunakan metode SEM-EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy). Berdasarkan pengamatan langsung maka didapatkan suhu tertinggi dari area panas bumi Desa Makula adalah 43,6 o C. Area panas bumi daerah Desa Makula Tana Toraja mempunyai karakteristik nilai anomali magnetik beragam mulai dengan -340,5 nT sampai dengan 1015,8 nT. Hasil pemodelan penampang A dan B menggunakan Oasis menunjukkan bahwa struktur batuan dibawah permukaan hingga kedalaman yang maksimal, diperoleh beberapa bentuk body anomali yaitu: calcite, clay, coal, lava andesit breksi, basalt, dan granit .     Studi penentuan jenis aliran sungai Pute kawasan karst Rammang-Rammang kabupaten Maros telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecepatan aliran rata-rata dan pola aliran sungai Pute. Metode penelitian berupa pengukuran secara langsung di lapangan dengan menggunakan alat ukur arus (current meter) untuk pengukuran kecepatan aliran sungai. Titik pengukuran yaitu di dermaga 1 dan dermaga 2 sungai Pute. Pola aliran sungai Pute ditentukan berdasarkan analisis bilangan Reynold dan bilangan Froude. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan aliran rata-rata sungai Pute di dermaga 1 berbentuk parabolik yaitu kecepatan aliran maksimum pada tengah sungai dan minimum pada tepi sungai. Sedangkan di dermaga 2 kecepatan aliran rata-rata maksimum pada bagian tepi luar sungai diakibatkan oleh bentuk sungai yang berbelok (meander). Pola aliran sungai Pute adalah aliran turbulen (Re > 12500) dan aliran subkritis (Fr < 1).

Seismic survey was conducted to determine the presence of shallow gas under the seabed area X by using the tool SES-2000 Light-Narrow-Beam Parametric Sub Bottom Profilers mounted on the boat and then made the recording to follow the path that has been made.     Maros Karst region, covering an area of 43.750 hectares, has water resources that determine the life around it. Water resources in Maros Karst are in the rock layers or river underground in the cave. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data includes characteristics of the medium. Secondary data is rainfall data from BMKG, water discharge data from the PSDA, South Sulawesi province in 1990-2010, and the other characteristics data Maros Karst, namely cave, flora and fauna of the Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. Data analysis was conducted using laboratory test for medium characteristics Maros karst, rainfall and water discharge were analyzed using Minitab Program 1.5 to determine their profile. The average rainfall above 200 mm per year occurs in the range of 1999 to 2005. The availability of the water discharge at over 50 m<sup>3</sup>/s was happened in 1993 and 1995. Prediction was done by modeling Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), with the rainfall data shows that the average precipitation for four years (2011-2014) will sharply fluctuate. The prediction of water discharge in Maros Karst region was done for the period from January to August in 2011, including the type of 0. In 2012, the addition of the water discharge started up in early 2014. Maros Karst region is composed of clay and limestone soil. The analysis showed that clays have a greater tendency than limestone in water weight, porosity, water content, permeability and pore volume.

The result of this study showed that the air humidity in Pincara Masamba District of Luwu Utara was distributed between 52% to 85% while for shallow surface temperature it was distributed between 210C to 540C. In this region, the highest temperatur value locate in the area of high topoghrapy which indicate the existence of gheotermal. It was proved by the appearance of a hot spring.     This research is a field survey to reveal the characteristics of the subsurface based on the value of medium permeability Pangkep karst region. Data were collected using geoelectric resistivity Wenner configuration for subsurface characteristics with path length 90 m with as much data as the 145 data, then processed using software Res2dinV. For medium permeability measurements carried out with a drill to obtain samples and analyzed using the falling head method. The results of data analysis showed that the depth of up to 15,70 m for the subsurface characteristics with values 279-1,612 Ωm, types of materials such as sand, clay, slate, surface water, and groundwater. The value 1,612-6,196 Ωm for the type of quartz, granite, basalt, and limestone. The price 15,360-388,554 Ωm for the type of material andesite, rocks, salt. While the value of permeability for 6 samples is 0.87 D, 0.97 D, 0.053 D, 0.89 D, 0.63 D, and 0.87 D.

    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang studi kualitas udara khususnya konsentrasi NO 2 di kota Makassar. Lokasi pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode pusposive sampling (berdasarkan pertimbangan) yaitu di 8 lokasi. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan midget impinge yang berisi absorben NO 2 dengan menggunakan metode Griess Saltzman . Pengambilan sampel bersamaan dengan menghitung jumlah kendaraan, temperature, kelembaban, dan kecepatan angin. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi NO 2 pada 8 lokasi penelitian antara 24 µg/Nm 3 -92 µg/Nm 3 yang nilainya masih di bawah standar baku mutu. Semakin banyak jumlah kendaraan maka konsentrasi NO 2 semakin besar. Namun tetap berpengaruh temperatur, kelembaban, dan kecepatan angin.     Simulation Infiltration Rate of water on two dimension of thin plate soil by using finite difference method. The water flow in unsaturated zone explained by Nonlinear Richard equation mathematically. Richard equation is a partial differential equation, parabolic type. The finite difference approximate that recommended to solve this equation is ADI (Alternating Direction Implicit) method. The distribution of water content from finite difference method calculation is compared to the distribution of water content from analytic calculation. The error percentage of model is depending on size of mesh grid, they are 4.0 cm, 2.0 cm and 1.0 cm and the errors in a row are 0.31%, 0.43% and 0.52%. The type of soil are interpreted in this simulation is sand. The simulation show that the longer time duration the smaller infiltration rate on the sand field.     This study examines the phenomenon of climate change and the analysis of the characteristics of extreme rainfall in the city of Makassar. The data used are daily precipitation data obtained from PSDA, the data of monthly rainfall and temperature from years 1993-2012 obtained from BMKG region IV Makassar. Daily rainfall data is used to see the extreme rainfall whereas monthly rainfall and temperature to see the phenomenon peruban respectively.     Research has been carried out to describe the profile of the sediment layer and analyze the composition of sediment minerals in the former mine area of the Karst Maros area. Data is collected by measuring in the field in one of the former mining areas using a geoelectric tool. The measured data are current strength, voltage, and then an analysis is performed to obtain the value of resistance and resistance using the Wenner configuration. The results of the analysis were processed using Res2dinV software to obtain resistivity cross-sections in the measurement area. Processing results obtained by sedimentary profiles in the former mine area of the Maros Karst Area in the form of layers at resistivity values in the range of 0.17 Ωm to 7.80 Ωm and the corresponding types of material are groundwater, sand, clay, and limestone.
