    Objective: Hypertension is the leading contributor to all-cause death and disability worldwide. One of the most well-known first-line antihypertensive drugs is chlorthalidone which treats hypertension through carbonic anhydrase (CA) II inhibition. However, due to the high number of cases of hypertension, a more potent medication is still needed. Xanthone is a potential candidate for the compound group for its potency in inhibiting CA II. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate around 500 xanthones’ potency as a better oral antihypertensive drug than chlorthalidone. Methods: 507 xanthones were analyzed for their potency using in silico method. Xanthone’s structures were retrieved from the PubChem website or built using Avogadro software, while the CA II receptor was retrieved from The RCSB website.     Propolis contains a wide range of pharmacological activities because of their various bioactive compounds. The beneficial effect of propolis is interesting for treating type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) owing to dysregulation of multiple metabolic processes. In this study, 275 of 658 Asian propolis compounds were evaluated as potential anti-T2DM agents using the DIA-DB web server towards 18 known anti-diabetes protein targets. More than 20% of all compounds could bind to more than five diabetes targets with high binding affinity (<−9.0 kcal/mol). Filtering with physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties, including ADMET parameters, 12 compounds were identified as potential anti-T2DM with favorable ADMET properties.     Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder caused by several factors, namely neuroinflammation, neuronal apoptosis, and low levels of neurotransmitter Acetylcholine. MAPK14, TNF-α, IL-1β, and NF-KB are proteins that are directly involved in the neuroinflammatory signaling pathway. Caspase3 is involved in neuronal apoptosis, and AChE act as a neurotransmitter breakdown catalyst. In this study, docking analysis of propolis compounds was successfully done against six proteins related neurodegenerative. The results show that 18 compounds of propolis have a better binding affinity than standard drugs (donepezil, huperzine A, fostamatinib, and amrinone). For AChE, only isoetin has a lower binding affinity than donepezil. Isoetin was also observed to inhibit the Caspase3, MAPK14, NF-kB, and TNF-α.     Zeolites made from Bangka clay and Karawang rice husk ash were synthesized through the reaction between sodium silicate and sodium aluminate with the volume ratio of 25:25:50 (K4) and 50:25:25 (K6). Sodium silicate was obtained from the reaction of rice husk ash, clay and NaOH. Meanwhile, sodium aluminate was obtained from the reaction between NaOH and Al(OH)3. Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) instrumentation was used to characterize the bond and structure of the zeolite, while that of the surface morphology was observed using Scanning Electrone Microscope (SEM) . The bonds formed in the K4 and K6 zeolites showed Si-Al interactions, which were indicated by FTIR spectra. The interactions included Si-OH bending vibrations, vibrations of O-Si-O and O-Al-O asymmetry stretches, symmetric stretching vibrations of O-Si-O and O-Al-O, and vibrations of double ring bonding.     Heavy metals, such as Cu, are hazardous components so that it needs to reduce their concentration due to their negative impact on the environment. One method that can be used to reduce heavy metals in waste is to use adsorbents (synthetic zeolites). Utilization of agricultural waste such as rice husks and corncobs as precursors of synthetic zeolites will add economic value because it is relatively cheap with a lot of availability. This research aimed to find out new variants of synthetic zeolites, which can reduce the concentration of Cu in the adsorption process. The study consisted of 3 stages, the first stage was zeolite synthesis by the sol-gel method with 3 zeolite variants (A, B and C), the second stage was characterization using XRD and SEM, and the third stage was zeolites optimization (variations in pH, weight, and concentration).     Zeolit berbahan dasar kaolin Bangka dan abu sekam padi Karawang disintesis melalui reaksi antara natrium silikat dan natrium aluminat dengan variasi volume rasio 25:25:50 (K4) dan 50:25:25 (K6). Natrium silikat diperoleh dari reaksi antara abu sekam padi dengan kaolin dan NaOH. Sedangkan, natrium aluminat diperoleh dari reaksi antara NaOH dengan Al(OH)3. Zeolit diidentifikasi ikatan dan struktur penyusunnya menggunakan instrumentasi Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) dan diamati morfologi permukaannya menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Ikatan yang terbentuk pada zeolit K4 dan K6 menunjukkan adanya interaksi Si-Al yang ditunjukkan oleh spektra FTIR.  Interaksi yang dihasilkan meliputi vibrasi tekuk Si-OH, vibrasi ulur asimetri O-Si-O dan O-Al-O, vibrasi ulur simetri O-Si-O dan O-Al-O, serta vibrasi ikatan cincin ganda.     Salah satu pemanfaatan limbah sekam padi yaitu sebagai bahan dasar dalam sintesis zeolit. Zeolit berbahan dasar abu sekam padi yang diperoleh dari daerah Karawang, Jawa Barat telah berhasil disintesis melalui reaksi antara natrium silikat dan natrium aluminat  dengan variasi rasio Si/Al = 1,5 (L1) ; 1 (L2) ; dan 0,67 (L3). Natrium silikat diperoleh dari reaksi antara abu sekam padi dengan NaOH sedangkan natrium aluminat diperoleh dari reaksi antara NaOH dengan Al(OH)3. Sintesis zeolit melibatkan proses sol-gel dan hidrotermal. Zeolit diidentifikasi ikatan dan strukturnya menggunakan spektroskopi infra merah (FTIR) dan difraksi sinar-X (XRD).
