The coronavirus nucleocapsid (N) is a structural protein that forms complexes with genomic RNA, interacts with the viral membrane protein during virion assembly and plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency of virus transcription and assembly. Recent studies have confirmed that N is a multifunctional protein. The aim of this review is to highlight the properties and functions of the N protein, with specific reference to (i) the topology; (ii) the intracellular localization and (iii) the functions of the protein.

Many studies have solely focused on the negative impact of the coronavirus while ignoring the fact that the coronavirus was also a blessing in disguise to certain institutions. This study focuses on an exploration of some of the environmental-related benefits accruing from the outbreak of the coronavirus, which eventually led many countries of the world to declare a national lockdown. The study utilised secondary sources from 21 articles gleaned from hand-searched literature from various web pages and online news, accessed through google web page (google.com) between March to September 2020. Le questioni poste dall’impatto della crisi sanitaria sui sistemi alternativi di risoluzione delle controversie sono inizialmente rimaste senza esplicite da parte del legislatore. Successivamente, tuttavia, si è stratificata una consistente normativa. Così è avvenuto soprattutto in materia di mediazione, dove si è assistito a significativi interventi non solo di contenuto strettamente emergenziale ma anche strutturalmente diretti a consentire un più agevole ricorso alle forme telematiche. Senza contare, poi, l’introduzione di una nuova ipotesi di mediazione obbligatoria, specificamente dedicata alle controversie in cui il coronavirus possa essere assunto a parametro di valutazione della sussistenza di un inadempimento. Quanto poi alla negoziazione assistita e all’arbitrato, non pochi problemi sono stati suscitati, per quest’ultimo, da una normativa che solo in sede di conversione del cosiddetto Cura Italia ha espressamente previsto l'applicazione della normativa emergenziale dovuta al Covid-19 anche agli arbitrati rituali. La legge ha infatti risolto un dubbio che in precedenza poteva porsi in merito alla sospensione dei termini e al rinvio delle udienze nel periodo in cui tale regime ha operato per il processo, ma nel contempo, attribuendo efficacia sostanzialmente retroattiva al chiarimento, ha posto interrogativi non da poco, da risolvere con una interpretazione di tipo conservativo, circa il destino degli atti che siano stati compiuti ovvero alle udienze che siano state ugualmente svolte in quel lasso di tempo. In tale frenesia di regolazione, nulla è stato invece disposto dal legislatore per l’arbitrato irrituale, di cui deve essere pertanto valorizzata la natura meramente negoziale con conseguente esclusione dell’applicabilità della disciplina emergenziale del processo.

En el marco de las evaluaciones de impacto socioeconómico que el PNUD está realizando a nivel global en respuesta a la crisis de coronavirus, la oficina del PNUD en Chile diseñó junto al Ministerio de Desarrollo Social y Familia, una encuesta de evaluación para ser aplicada en los hogares del país. La Encuesta Social COVID-19 se realizó en alianza con el Ministerio de Desarrollo Social y Familia, sumándose a estos esfuerzos el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas, que facilitó sus equipos técnicos para la fase de diseño muestral, el levantamiento de los datos y la elaboración de la base de datos final.

El objetivo del trabajo fue caracterizar los efectos socioeconómicos directos e indirectos que ha generado la crisis sanitaria en los hogares chilenos, reconociendo las particularidades de esta experiencia en diferentes territorios y configuraciones de hogares. Esto, de modo de disponer de información confiable y oportuna que sirva para el diseño de políticas públicas que entreguen una respuesta inclusiva a la crisis. El instrumento fue diseñado y los resultados son analizados con enfoque de género.

In seguito alla dichiarazione dello «stato di emergenza in conseguenza del rischio sanitario connesso all’insorgenza di patologie derivanti da agenti virali trasmissibili» proclamato con la Delibera del Consiglio dei Ministri del 31 gennaio 2020 si sono, infatti, susseguiti numerosi provvedimenti volti alla gestione dell’emergenza sanitaria in atto, a partire dal decreto legge 23 febbraio 2020 n. 6, convertito con modificazioni, dalla legge 5 marzo 2020 n. 13, in forza del quale sono stati emanati ulteriori decreti legge, decreti del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri, ordinanze e decreti di diversi Ministeri, delle Regioni e dei Comuni. Tali misure hanno causato non poche conseguenze sul settore turistico. I provvedimenti emanati hanno, infatti, progressivamente limitato la possibilità di spostamento dei cittadini e, conseguentemente, la possibilità di godere vacanze programmate tempo prima.
Il contributo analizza i riflessi delle misure di contenimento del contagio da Covid-19 sui contratti del turismo e i provvedimenti emanati dal Governo in materia.

Ximei, a documentary filmed in China over a seven-year period by Andy Cohen and Gaylen Ross, follows the HIV-positive titular protagonist and plain-spoken community leader named Ximei, a local "peasant" woman in her thirties. Ximei is filmed as she negotiates the government bureaucracy in remote Henan province while acting as a community activist and advocate for the 300,000 other people in the region that developed HIV/AIDS as a result of a national government program during the 1990s, whose goal it was to increase blood bank reserves at a minimal cost. The program offered a month's wages (about five dollars) to blood donators. Tragically and stupidly, the public health workers in the province didn't decontaminate their transfusion equipment. As a result, many local residents that took advantage of the opportunity to earn extra money, contracted HIV, either from coming in contact with contaminated medical equipment or by receiving transfusions of untested, tainted blood during treatments for an accident or disease.

Background: Health tourism uses a set of services that promote the health and spirit of individuals through medical care. Entrepreneurship is a process of exploring and using value creation opportunities in the economic, cultural, social, and health sectors. The present study was done to investigate the development of Iran's health tourism system based on Stevenson's entrepreneurial management model and determine entrepreneurial opportunities during the COVID-19 outbreak. Methods: This descriptive quantitative research was conducted by the field study (survey) method, using a standardized and localized questionnaire from Stevenson's entrepreneurial management model to examine the views of health tourism specialists as the statistical population of the study. Using the snowball sampling method, 357 health tourism specialists, university professors, and health system managers participated in this study from 2018 to 2020. The collected data were recorded in PLS Smart software and their analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The findings indicated that all six components of Stevenson's entrepreneurial management had a significant effect on the health tourism industry's development. Strategic orientation and commitment to opportunities (path coefficient: 0.83) had the maximum effect, while the reward philosophy (path coefficient: 0.41) had the minimum effect on developing the health tourism industry. Conclusion: The average status of Stevenson's entrepreneurial management dimensions in the health tourism industry was evaluated. Some of these factors (strategic orientation and commitment to opportunities) were obviously more favorable than others. Proper entrepreneurial strategies and the use of situations can provide good opportunities in health tourism.

Some ethicists assert that there is a consensus that maximising medical outcomes takes precedence as a principle of resource allocation in emergency triage of absolutely scarce resources. But the nature of the current severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2 pandemic and the history of debate about balancing equity and efficiency in resource allocation do not support this assertion. I distinguish a number of concerns with justice and balancing considerations that should play a role in critical care triage policy, focusing on discrimination and on fundamental egalitarian and social justice concerns.

The paper makes the suggestions or recommendations to internet user for safer usages of internet and protect their data and privacy in the rising of online scams of coronavirus.

This article draws on the psychoanalyst Melanie Klein's 'paranoid-schizoid position' to discuss some exemplary social media posts about the coronavirus. I argue that posts often express experiences, thoughts, and fantasies in a schematic manner. They reproduce a paranoid-schizoid logic by which particular views on the current crisis are articulated and different ones are negated. The Kleinian framework is supplemented with Lacan's notion of the Discourse of the Hysteric. I argue that the examples discussed in this article are instances of hysteric modes of relating to an Other (e.g. the expert) that is allegedly withholding important information from the subject. Splitting is amplified by the technological functioning of social media themselves which split users along a paranoid-schizoid dynamic for purposes of surveillance, advertising and profit maximization. I conclude by outlining steps towards the Kleinian 'depressive position' both in relation to how we engage with COVID-19 and social media. The depressive position acknowledges both good and bad aspects of a given situation. I further show how it can be supplemented via the Lacanian Discourse of the Analyst which includes a commitment to the limits of knowledge, certainty, and prediction.

La legislazione processuale dell’emergenza non poteva che disporre, nell’immediato, la sospensione dei termini processuali e il rinvio delle udienze, che ha interessato la cosiddetta prima fase, intercorsa tra il 9 marzo e (tenuto conto delle proroghe medio tempore intervenute) l’11 maggio 2020. Un massiccio ricorso al rinvio si e` avuto peraltro anche nella fase successiva, per effetto delle misure organizzative delegate ai capi degli uffici. La fine di tale seconda fase, dapprima posticipata sino al 31 luglio, e` stata in ultimo improvvisamente anticipata al 30 giugno 2020. L’incessante adeguamento e la complessita` della normativa, il cui indice di mutazione e` pari, se non superiore, a quello attribuito al virus, ha determinato non poche incertezze applicative a cui lo scritto tenta di dare risposta, optando per le soluzioni maggiormente conservative degli atti compiuti e dei provvedimenti assunti.

Сравнение различных пандемий в контексте социальной философии призвано выделить основные сходства и различия социальных трансформаций, происходящих в разные исторические эпохи. Результаты сравнительного анализа дают возможность утверждать, что развитие пандемии возможно исключительно в высокоглобализированном мире, имеющем плотные военные и торговые связи на обширной территории, что характерно и для современности. Вторым общим фактором является уменьшение количества производящей силы и определенное оскудение или омоложение человеческого капитала. В прошлом эти факторы негативно сказывались на экономике, параллельно с этим повышая ценность отдельных работников и способствуя изменению традиций. Однако при проецировании данной закономерности на современную ситуацию заметно существенное отличие. Если в результате предыдущих эпидемий процент смертей от общей численности населения был чрезвычайно высок, то этого пока нельзя сказать о пандемии COVID-19. Кроме того, фактор «падения» производящих сил в значительной степени сглаживается высокой степенью механизации труда. Как результат, можно прогнозировать обратное предыдущим эпидемиям воздействие - ценность отдельного работника будет снижаться прямо пропорционально спаду в экономике. Третьим общим фактором воздействия пандемий является изменение социальных институтов. Оказавшись в экстренных условиях, наиболее «жизнеспособными» становятся самые эффективные решения, вытесняя при этом традиционные структуры. Так, античная форма ведения хозяйства стала невозможной в связи с высокой смертностью рабов и трудностями в быстром восполнении потерь, что трансформировало экономическую систему Византии и Западной Европы во время Юстиниановой чумы. Исходя из вышесказанного строится предположение, что в ближайшем будущем состоится закрепление на достигнутых позициях различных форм дистанционной работы или социального контроля, параллельно с ростом безработицы и отчуждением ряда традиционных ценностей.

WHO has designated COVID-19 as a health problem with a global emergency
status with the highest level of vigilance. Indonesia has a very strategic area. The entry and
exit of Indonesian citizens and foreigners who carry out economic, educational, political,
cultural, tourism, and other activities in Indonesia are hazardous for the spread of Covid-19.
Indonesia is a country with two confirmed cases of Covid-19. Covid-19 has an impact on the
health, tourism, economic, social, and other sectors. Prevention of dissemination is by
responding to Covid-19 through early detection, human surveillance, environmental
surveillance, transport equipment inspection, and goods inspection.

This is the second research report published by the Repository of Civil Society Initiatives Against the Pandemic. It focuses on the impacts of the pandemic on digital activism. The author argues that there is a digital turnaround in the actions of civil society organizations. In part, this is due to the simple fact that actors use digital resources more. Most importantly, however, there is a deeper process of transformation, shown in this Report through examples of appropriation, diversification, adaptation, and creation of bridges between online and digital arenas. This transformation is incipient and highly unequal, but the Report shows that the perception of civil society actors about the potentialities of digital activism has changed in the context of the pandemic, especially in the cases of civil society actors who have had to face the obstacles presented by digital exclusion.

Main aim of the study was to examine individuals' acceptability of the potential COVID-19 vaccine among smokers and non-smokers. Second aim was to determine reasons for not complying with vaccination among both groups. A cross-sectional Internet study was conducted among 985 individuals. Data regarding socio-demographic characteristics of the individuals, beliefs and attitudes toward pandemic, and prospect vaccination acceptance were collected by means of a self-administered questionnaires. Next, independent factors associated with not complying with vaccination among smokers and non-smokers were assessed by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Data showed that among smokers intention to accept vaccine uptake was 27.6% and among non-smokers 39.8%. Independent factors associated with decision to decline vaccination among smokers were younger age, being single, divorced or widowed, lack of children in the household, absence of chronic illnesses, absence of seasonal influenza vaccination in the past 3 years, low perception of high likelihood of getting infected, low perception of the severity of illness, individuals' beliefs that vaccination causes side effects, is not effective and safe enough. Promotion of vaccination programmes should be designed taking into account the major concerns to the pandemic vaccine among smokers.

In tale contesto, sarà possibile osservare in una luce del tutto nuova le peculiari misure adottate dagli Stati occidentali per il contrasto alla pandemia. Lockdown, vaccinazioni di massa effettuata con i soli vaccini statunitensi, controllo ferreo del fronte interno, delegittimazione di ogni opposizione, esclusione di ogni altra terapia o trattamento: tutte soluzioni da assumersi in caso di attacco batteriologico, in un contesto tipicamente bellico, marcato dalla diffusione sul territorio di un «weaponised virus».

Asimismo se definieron las condiciones que debe cumplir un dispositivo para desinfección UV-C, entre las cuales se encuentran medidas de seguridad para el usuario y parámetros que deben respetarse para garantizar la calidad de la esterilización. Se concluye que el tratamiento ultravioleta germicida a 254 nm para ambientes y superficies es un método capaz de complementar los protocolos de limpieza y desinfección existentes. Un dispositivo que cumple con los requisitos señalados puede ser incorporado en la planificación sanitaria de cualquier institución y compañía para minimizar el contagio de enfermedades en general y constituiría una herramienta clave para combatir al virus SARS-CoV-2.

Much attention has been given to the challenge posed by the covid-19 pandemic to people’s health, to public health systems and to the global economy. Insufficient attention has been given to the challenge posed by the 2019 novel coronavirus to legislatures, the vital organ of democracy. This article develops a comprehensive analysis of the multiple ways in which the pandemic challenges legislatures and their operation, drawing on illustrative examples from various countries around the world. It argues that covid-19 poses a unique and complex challenge for legislatures; resulting from the characteristics of this pandemic and the ways they interact with the fundamental institutional features of legislatures; the typical demographic traits of legislators; the psychological biases that can prejudice legislatures’ ability to evaluate the risk; and the effects of emergencies on legislatures. The article then delves into an in-depth case study analysis of Israel to analyze how the pandemic particularly challenges parliaments in countries where covid-19 coincides with a pre-existing political crisis. By understanding the complex challenges posed by covid-19 on parliaments, we can help ensure that parliaments, and perhaps ultimately democracy itself, would not become casualties of covid-19.

In Italia il lessico dei momenti più bui seguiva la narrativa di una guerra mondiale con medici e infermieri nelle vesti di eroici soldati al fronte, i malati in quelle delle vittime civili e il nemico più temibile e invisibile, il virus, da affrontare a mani nude, in mancanza di armi. Mentre i caduti venivano trasportati nottetempo in lunghi convogli militari, destinati alla cremazione, vittime colte alla sprovvista da un nemico sconosciuto e invisibile.

The SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic has severely affected the global economy. In 2020, due to the spread of virus, many countries experienced an economic recession. During the first wave of the pandemic, there was also a crash in the capital markets, mainly in the securities markets, as a result of which interventionist measures within the monetary and fiscal policy were applied. When central banks lowered interest rates and the governments of individual countries started implementing anti-crisis, interventionist programs of socio-economic policy, including fiscal policy and monetary policy, pessimistic moods on capital markets improved significantly, the economic situation began to stabilize and the economies of individual countries began to recover from recession and economic crisis. This study is examined Nigerian newspaper coverage of coronavirus in Nigeria. Also to
know the prominence attached and how intensive the stories were written. The
objectives of this study were to examine the frequency of newspaper reportage of
coronavirus in Nigeria, to ascertain the prominence given to the issue of coronavirus, in
term of news placement by the selected newspapers, to examine the space given to the
issue of coronavirus by the selected newspapers. Content analysis was used based on
simple random sampling for newspaper coverage on coronavirus in Nigeria by Daily
Trust, The Punch, and The Nation newspapers for the period of six months each, i.e.
between March and August, 2020 where a total of 270 editions were selected for the
month of March, May and July, 2020. The findings revealed that Nigerian newspaper
gave adequate coverage to coronavirus in Nigeria because the number of stories used
reporting the issues were high. It recommended that the media should always continue
to sensitize the general public on the negative effects of not adhering to safety measures
against coronavirus in Nigeria.

I present evidence that formal and informal research on 'online education and distance learning', followed by 'international mobility' and 'public health', are currently the three most important issues and topics facing scholars and practitioners as a result of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Using NVivo 12.0 qualitative software, I collected and analyzed data from 123 abstracts representing 147 contributors across 98 colleges and universities from the author's forthcoming book (provisionally) entitled, Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Global Higher Education, to be published by Routledge (Taylor & Francis). Preliminary result suggests that the number of proposals submitted to the 'online education and distance learning' section (N = 34) suggest a major shift from international and comparative higher education scholars, policymakers and practitioners to investigate an area that is understudied, and perhaps largely overlooked in many developing and transitional economies. I provide several resource global researchers and community members could implement to publish empirical research and policy briefs surrounding the impacts of the COVID-19 on postsecondary (tertiary) education. Implications for future research and policymaking are discussed.

Introduction: Coronavirus is a family of viruses that cause respiratory infections. The new coronavirus agent was discovered on 12/31/19 after cases registered in China. It causes the disease called coronavirus (COVID-19). The first human coronaviruses were isolated for the first time in 1937. However, it was in 1965 that the virus was described as coronavirus, due to the profile under microscopy, looking like a crown.
Objectives: This article aims to bring the most current medical literature on the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
Methodology: The publications with the greatest impact factor in  February and March 2020 were searched in Nature, Elservie, JAMA and Wiley.
Results: More than 200 articles on COVID-19 were found and 20 articles were selected with the highest number of citations on Google Scholar.
Conclusion: Until March 2020, there is no really effective treatment against COVID-19, but many medications are being tested and with very promising results. The concern with the economy is also an extremely relevant factor at this moment.
