Any economic agent tends to achieve certain results and correctly measure the results achieved, and the application of concrete indicators in their measurement is very important. In this way, we consider that the basic indicator for measuring the achieved results must be accepted labor productivity. In this article, we will show that labor productivity, but with a new interpretation, is the right indicator for measuring the performance of the economic activity of the enterprise. Also, we will clarify the essence of the performance and production capacity of any economic agent. In the paper the theory will be exemplified, but based on conventional but rational data.

In this paper we will show the essence of indicators for analyzing the results of economic activities, necessary for businessmen to analyze the economic and financial situation of its enterprises. We will present the types of these economic indicators and their calculation methods in a new interpretation. The given indicators are necessary for following the quantitative and qualitative factors that influenced the achievement of the final goal of the company.

Profitability is considered a decisive tool for boosting the market economy mechanism, being a form of expressing the economic efficiency of the company to make a profit. Thus, the basic objective of the enterprise is profit and, in order to achieve the proposed goals, it is necessary to perform the analysis and periodic control of the activity, of the economic and financial situation, the state of performance within it. În această lucrare vom arăta esența profitului, ca rezultat principal al activităților economice, într-o nouă interpretare. Indicator necesar spre obținere oamenilor de afaceri, pentru întreținerea sa și a membrilor săi de familie și pentru posibilitatea de a dezvolta neîntrerupt şi în continuu activități economice. Vom prezenta tipurile de profituri într-o nouă interpretare şi vom arăta calculul profitului așteptat de producător și obținut real după efectuarea activităţii economice. The essence of profit, in a new interpretation, will be shown in this paper as the main result of economic activities. It is a necessary indicator to be obtained by businessmen, for their own maintenance and of their family members and for the possibility to develop uninterruptedly and continuously economic activities. The types of profits are presented in a new interpretation along with the calculation of the expected profit by the producer and the one that is really obtained after performing the economic activity. The present research consists in creating the new paradigm design of fixed capital depreciation. The scientific approach summarizes direct and indirect effects regarding the profitability, risk and value of a company, dictated by the investment in fixed assets. The authors' solution to the presented problem is based on a specific research methodology that includes a series of methods and techniques, consequently representing an essential dynamic for a company, based on the new economy of knowledge. The new paradigm substantiated by the authors and defined the depreciation of fixed capital, is the investment in rigid assets, being decisive for the survival of a company under the conditions of economic internationalization.

The article reveals the essence and the economic content of the economic efficiency at the enterprise level. Also, its forms are given, and respectively, indicators which can be used to measure the economic efficiency within the company. A production situation was proposed, through which have been rendered counting formulas for economic efficiency indicators and was given the economic expression, which simultaneously showed up to or after which values the enterprise carries on efficient production activity and marketing.

In this paper, we will show the essence of labor productivity in new interpretation. Also, will show the forms that reflect the essence for labor productivity. We will make a comparison between new and old essences.
