This paper intends to identify the key factors of employee engagement and well-being as antecedents to employee performance and the resultant impact on employee productivity. The study is empirical in nature and simple random sampling was used for data collection with the private sector of the state of Jammu & Kashmir as the universe. A total of 550 questionnaires were distributed and 513 valid responses collected. Regression and structural equation modelling (SEM) were used to predict and estimate the relationship. The findings from the study reveal that all identified factors are predictors of psychological well-being (r2 = 0.46), however, the variables that have a major impact are environmental mastery. autonomy, and self-acceptance. Psychological well-being has a significant impact on employee performance (r2 = 0.42). This study contributes to both theory and practice by investigating the impact of psychological well-being on employee performance and productivity in private sect...

The purpose of this paper is to study the detection of labour welfare practices at the workplace. Labour welfare is important to the progress of any organization, so, they ought to be kept joyful and provided for with justifiable wages, welfare packages, and other incentives which aren't continually given. And hence, there is a need to provide ample welfare facilities and social security to maintain organizational relations at working place. Labour welfare plays an essential position to inspire them closer to work. It's far consequently not unusual to peer exertions unrest as a result of corporations of bad welfare provisions and services to the workers. Employees believe that even though capital is supplied by using the employers, they're the main aid used to bring output and manufacturing which sooner or later carry again the investment and big dividends to the employers. This paper looks at how existing labour laws are serving as a protective mechanism towards the welfare of the laborers in the workplace

Technological revolution and the financial liberalization have carved a way for the development of new, effective, efficient, and reliable delivery and processing channels. It has led to the introduction of innovative products and services in the banking industry. The banking sector is facing unbending competition not only from non-banking intermediaries as well as from alternative sources of financing. Consumers are becoming increasingly sharp and have become more involved in their financial decisions. A number of activities are handled electronically due to the acceptance of information technology at home as well as at a workplace. The plot of internet banking/ web banking is losing its grip and steadily, the consumers are moving towards the mobile banking. Although, the concept of mobile banking is relatively new in Jammu and Kashmir as compared to Internet banking, it is vital to examine what a consumer looks forth before adapting to the technological advancement and what are the necessary steps that should be taken, to ensure that users keep on aligning with this technology since all the customers are not ready to accept mobile banking services. The challenge for the banks is how to attract more customers to adopt the use of banking services via the mobile channel. The key objective of this study will be to investigate the factors which are influencing the customer’s intention to adopt the mobile banking in J&K.

Undiluted urine mixed directly with HRP suppresses generation of enzyme product to less than 80% of that seen in buffer controls. Incubating dilutions of various urine preparations with HRP immobilized on concanavalin A coated microtiter plates reveals that the source of urine or HRP, and the type of HRP substrate used have minimal effect on the degree of HRP suppression; only dilutions of urine greater than 8-fold with buffer produce HRP activities equivalent to those in buffer. Treating urine with charcoal or C18 silica only partially reverses the HRP suppression. Inhibition of HRP in competitive assays biases results to the high side and in noncompetive assays biases results to the low side. The present findings suggest analysts should avoid immunoassay protocols that allow direct contact between undiluted urine and HRP reporter conjugates and should be cautious with quantitative results previously reported from assays that used undiluted urine with HRP reporters.
