Despite numerous studies dedicated to business and entrepreneurship education, there is a lack of research dedicated to students studying creativity in entrepreneurial and business-related disciplines through knowledge management tools and practices. The objectives of the study were to determine the key factors of creative motivation for entrepreneurship among students, to build an appropriate universal practical model of learner creativeness motivation, and to create a knowledge management concept based on this model. By way of comparative, descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative analysis methods, we investigated previous research in the field of motivation, educational approaches, and methodologies, together with the data of the Program for International Student Assessment of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. In order to compare international experience of knowledge management in modern approaches to education, we analyzed the curricular of business an...

The current study aims to identify students’ level of involvement in the Arabic language textbook content provided in cycle one within the United Arab Emirates by addressing two questions: (i) What is the student's level of involvement in the scientific materials contained in Arabic language textbooks for cycle one within the United Arab Emirates? (ii) What is the student's level of involvement in the language activities contained in Arabic language textbooks for cycle one within the United Arab Emirates? A descriptive-analytical approach was employed with Romey’s formula as an instrument and framework to ascertain students’ involvement level in textbooks containing scientific materials and language activities post-instrument validity and reliability. The study sample encompassed 16 scientific lessons and 52 language activities from the first cycle of Arabic language textbooks. Frequencies and percentages were employed in the statistical treatment. The study concluded that t...

This study aimed to investigate the impact of teaching one of Arabic language subjects by using Participatory Video (PV) in enhancing Arabic Speaking Skills level among 7 th , grade students in Jordan. The sample consisted of (148) male and female students who were chosen by using convenience sampling method from two governmental schools in Zarqa, Jordan, and were distributed randomly into two experimental and control groups. A Speaking Test (ST) to measure the performance on the Arabic speaking skills (the independent variable), was developed and reliability and validity properties of the ST were verified and applied in pre-post tests. Two methods of teaching: Participatory Video/ Regular (The Dependent Variable) were applied respectively, to the two experimental and control groups. Results showed a significant statistical impact at the level (α =0.05) in the Speaking Test (ST) in favor of the experimental group. Findings also showed a statistical significant impact at the level (α...

The study at hand aims at identifying the argumentative writing skills among Arabic language teachers in online environments. The need for acceptance and the readiness of teachers to work independently in a digital environment is now especially great since students are familiar with electronic technology. Peculiarities of teaching the Arabic language require increased attention to learning writing and confident knowledge from teachers. Argumentative writing is important for teachers precisely in terms of its use to motivate students in e-learning and increase their engagement. Research paper points to the relationship between teachers’ writing skills and students’ advancement in writing when learning Arabic, especially as a foreign language. To achieve the purpose of the study, the descriptive method was applied. The sample of the study consisted of 120 teachers of UAE primary schools (40 male and 80 female), who were chosen randomly. The instrument of the study is a questionnaire d...

This study aims to identify the occupational burnout and its relation to teaching performance among Al Ain University (AAU) academic staff. The sample of the study consisted of 60 male and female teachers of Al Ain University First Directorate of Education. The researchers designed two tools for the study, represented in occupational burnout questionnaire for teachers and teaching performance questionnaire. The results show that teachers in the education college in AAU have a moderate level of occupational burnout. There are differences in the occupational burnout level for the favor of females, and differences in teaching experience for the favor of 10 years and more. The researchers ascribe this result to increased workloads and stress that female teachers face. Female teachers are more exposed to occupational burnout than male teachers because female teachers also face loads in connection with household and family concerns. There is as well an inverse relationship with statistica...

The current study aimed to examine Arabic language teachers’ perceived competence, use, benefits, and challenges of WhatsApp use as an educational tool. A questionnaire as a quantitative data collection method was used. The findings revealed that participants had different levels of WhatsApp integration skills, with 44% of them being advanced or expert and 56% being intermediate or beginner users. The study also found that participants used WhatsApp primarily for sharing and accessing language materials and for chatting purposes. It was also revealed that participants perceived WhatsApp as a beneficial collaborative language educational tool. Yet, participants identified a number of challenges, such as requiring extra effort and time to use, digital divide, students’ improper use, smartphones’ screen size, and failure to deliver effective instruction.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the interrelations between job satisfaction, teachers' self-efficacy and effective teaching practices based on well-established learning theories (behavioral, cognitive and humanistic), and the predictive power of teachers' self-efficacy and their teaching practices on job satisfaction among a sample (n = 240) of grades 6-10 Arabic language teachers from public schools in Amman's second district. All study variables showed statistically significant positive intercorrelations. The results indicated that teacher perceptions of self-efficacy contributed uniquely in the interpretation of nearly (53%) of variance in job satisfaction, followed by both humanistic and cognitive teaching practices. Also, teacher perceptions of self-efficacy to influence decision making interpreted nearly (46%) of variance in job satisfaction while instructional and disciplinary self-efficacy interpreted nearly (7%; 2%), respectively. It turns out that female compared to male teachers were significantly more satisfied with their work, perceived themselves as more efficient and using more efficient teaching strategies. The study also revealed that teachers with graduate education qualifications reported significantly higher levels of job satisfaction, self-efficacy and effective teaching practices than non-graduate teachers. Finally, results showed that younger teachers perceived themselves as more self-efficient than their older counterparts. However, there was no significant relationship between teaching experiences of teachers with job satisfaction and teaching practices.
