Currently, the quadcopter Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are playing a significant role in combating the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, which induced the researchers to design robust control techniques. In this paper, a fuzzy PID controller is designed to stabilize and/or track the desired trajectory of the quadcopter UAV. The mathematical model of the quadcopter UAV has been briefly presented, where it has been divided into two portions, the position dynamic and the attitude dynamic subsystems. Subsequently, a robust fuzzy PID controller has been designed for both the inner loop and outer loop to control and stabilize the position and the attitude of the quadcopter, which adaptively manipulate the system’s input based on the tracking error. Background Fruit bats are known to harbor zoonotic paramyxoviruses including Nipah, Hendra, and Menangle viruses. The aim of this study was to detect the presence of paramyxovirus RNA in fruit bats from Indonesia. Methods RNA samples were obtained from the spleens of 110 fruit bats collected from four locations in Indonesia. All samples were screened by semi-nested broad spectrum reverse transcription PCR targeting the paramyxovirus polymerase (L) genes. Results Semi-nested reverse transcription PCR detected five previously unidentified paramyxoviruses from six fruit bats. Phylogenetic analysis showed that these virus sequences were related to henipavirus or rubulavirus. Conclusions This study indicates the presence of novel paramyxoviruses among fruit bat populations in Indonesia.

Bats are known to harbor emerging RNA viruses. Recent studies have used high-throughput sequencing technology to identify various virus species, including DNA viruses that are harbored by bats; however, little is known about the nature of these potentially novel viruses. Here, we report the characterization of a novel herpesvirus isolated from an Indonesian pteropodid bat. The virus, tentatively named fruit bat alphaherpesvirus 1 (FBAHV1), has a double-stranded DNA genome of 149,459 bp. The phylogenetic analyses suggested that FBAHV1 is phylogenetically grouped with simplexviruses within the subfamily Alphaherpesvirinae . Inoculation of FBAHV1 into laboratory mice caused a lethal infection. Virus infection was observed in lung, liver, and brain tissue. Serological and PCR screening revealed that fruit bats infected with FBAHV1 or its related virus are widely distributed in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to detect borax and formalin in meatballs that sold in Limboto, Gorontalo district. This is a descriptive qualitative study. Thirty-three samples were taken randomly from pushcart and restaurant meatball in Limboto. It used simple technic where using turmeric to detect borax and potassium permanganate (KMnO4) to detect formalin. The result showed that the samples were free from borax but twenty five samples (75.75%) were positive for formalin. In conclusion, the produsen of meatballs in Limboto was not using borax for making the chewable meatballs but using formalin to preserve the meatballs.

Limbah pertanian, terutama jerami jagung (tebon) yang sangat melimpah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pakan silase, tetapi masih banyak petani yang belum tahu dan belum bisa untuk membuat pakan silase tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan petani dalam pembuatan pakan silase di Kelompok Tani Rukun Sejahtera Desa Bualo Kecamatan Paguyaman Kabupaten Boalemo. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan dengan teknik ceramah dan tanya jawab, metode praktikum dan pendampingan kepada peserta, serta metode survei menggunakan instrumen kuisioner untuk menilai pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta dalam pembuatan pakan silase. The Research aimed to knowing the effect of using different type eggs to favourite level of Tiliaya (Gorontalo traditional food), includes: texture, color, smell, taste and preference in general. The panelists used were 25 people of untrained category with range score 1 to 5. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replications. The treatments was P1 (chicken eggs), P2 (free-range eggs), P3 (duck eggs) and P4 (quail eggs). Data analysis used analysis of variance and continued with Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT). The result of research showed that had a significant effect (P 0,01) to treatments. About texture of Tiliaya, panelists gave highest score on treatment P3 (duck eggs) with average value of 4,14. Based on color, treatment P2 (free-range chicken eggs) gets highest average score of 4,22, while treatment P1 (chicken eggs) gets the highest average value in terms of smell, taste and preference. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan populasi ternak sapi sebagai penghasil bahan baku pupuk organik, dan (2) meningkatkan pengetahuan Kelompok Tani Sumber Rezeki dalam pembuatan pupuk organik. Bats are an important natural reservoir for a variety of viral pathogens, including polyomaviruses (PyVs). The aims of this study were: (i) to determine which PyVs are present in bats in Indonesia and (ii) to analyze the evolutionary relationships between bat PyVs and other known PyVs. Using broad-spectrum polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based assays, we screened PyV DNA isolated from spleen samples from 82 wild fruit bats captured in Indonesia. Fragments of the PyV genome were detected in 10 of the 82 spleen samples screened, and eight full-length viral genome sequences were obtained using an inverse PCR method. A phylogenetic analysis of eight whole viral genome sequences showed that BatPyVs form two distinct genetic clusters within the proposed genus Orthopolyomavirus that are genetically different from previously described BatPyVs. Interestingly, one group of BatPyVs is genetically related to the primate PyVs, including human PyV9 and trichodysplasia spinulosa-associated PyV. This study has identified the presence of novel PyVs in fruit bats in Indonesia and provides genetic information about these BatPyVs.
