Antecedents and consequences are important to understand why companies decide to proceed green innovation and what are their benefits to the companies and their stakeholders. Antecedents are motivations of companies to conduct green innovation whereas consequences are contributions of them to the World.

    The purpose of this study is to present the findings of an exploratory research which was applied on alumni of the Faculty of Commercial Sciences in a foundation University in Istanbul in Turkey in spring semester of 2013. This university was established in 2001 and had 1500 alumni of its faculty of commercial sciences. It was not possible to reach e-mails or contact information of 200 alumni. Thus, the questionnaire was sent to 1300 alumni via e-mail and 332 usable questionnaires were sent back. The response rate is 26%. This study was conducted on 332 alumni of the faculty of commercial sciences of the foundation university in Istanbul. The frequency distribution analysis was applied to data. It is an exploratory research because it is trying to reveal the problem, the current situation and the ideas of aumni of this unversity. This paper gives an insight from a Turkish university about entrepreneurial intentions of their students and alumni and contributions to them.

    ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı, elektronik ticaret (e-ticaret) yapan işletmelerin alan adlarının, e-ticaret hizmeti alan bireylerin bu işletmeleri tercihleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma formu İstanbul'da e-ticaret yöntemiyle alışveriş yapan 400 kişiye dağıtılmış, bunlardan 353 tane kullanılabilir araştırma formu temin edilerek, analiz edilmiştir. Toplanan verilerin analiz için güvenirlik analizi, faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, e-ticaret yapan işletmelerin sadece üst düzey alan adı, keyword alan adı ve com alan adı, e-ticaret hizmeti alan bireylerin bu işletmeleri tercihlerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü etkilemektedir. Bununla beraber, e-ticaret yapan işletmelerin toplam alan adları, e-ticaret hizmeti alan bireylerin bu işletmeleri tercihlerini pozitif yönlü etkilemektedir. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of domain names of companies which conduct electronic commerce (e-commerce) on preferences of people who get e-commerce service from these companies. The convenience sampling method is used in this study. The questionnaire of this study was distributed to 400 people who did shopping via e-commerce. 353 valid questionnaires were collected back and analyzed. The reliability analysis, factor analyses, correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. It is found that only top-level domain name, keyword domain name, and com domain name have positive effects on preferences of people who get e-commerce service from these companies. However, it is found that total domain names of companies which conduct e-commerce have positive effect on preferences of people who get e-commerce service from these companies.

    Strategic planning is important for strategic management of companies. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of strategic planning on financial performance of Major Industrial Enterprises of Turkey. Our findings show that many domestic and foreign firms in our sample have a strategic process in place. It is an annual process and considered a very important organizational activity. This paper is one of the few studies to examine the strategic planning process in a sample of firms from a transitional economy. It can be considered a longitudinal study because it examines a set of institutions to identify changes in their performance over time, as they incorporate the use of strategic tools in a dynamic competitive environment. The findings of this study provide a contribution to our understanding of the nature and practice of strategic planning in Turkish companies and possibilities of correlations between their efforts and performance.

    The purpose of this study is to explore the pre-show activities of Turkish companies which participated in the 2 nd Turkish Products Trade Show in Algeria and effects of this trade show on expansion activities of these companies in Algeria. Istanbul Chamber of Commerce is the biggest chamber in Turkey with 350000 member companies. It organized a tradeshow between 7th and 10th of December 2013in in Algeria for its members to facilitate meeting with Algerian customers and making export agreements. This tradeshow could be a tool for Turkish companies to explore and enter both Algerian and African markets. The author conducted a study to these 134 companies which participated in this trade show. The data collection method is a questionnaire that was filled out by the owners of companies that participated in this tradeshow. 61% of the questionnaires were answered. Exploratory research method was used in this study. Frequency distribution analysis and crosstab analses were applied to the data.

    ÖZ Bu makalede liderlik tarzlarının örgütsel sessizlik üzerindeki etkisini telekomünikasyon sektöründe ele almak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın anket formu Türkiye'de telekomünikasyon sektöründeki bir işletmenin genel merkezinde ve 81 ildeki müdürlüklerinde çalışan beyaz yakalı 600 çalışana dağıtılmış, bunların 405 tanesinden geri toplanmış ve analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada liderlik tarzlarının örgütsel sessizliği etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Tam serbesti tanıyan ve etkileşimci liderlik tarzları örgütsel sessizliği pozitif yönlü, dönüştürücü liderlik tarzı ise negatif yönlü etkilemektedir. Araştırmanın hipotezleri kabul edilmiştir. Araştırmanın gelecekte ilgili alanda yapılacak araştırmalara kaynak temin edeceği tahmin edilmektedir. ABSTRACT The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of leadership styles on organizational silence in a telecommunication sector. The research's data was collected via convenience sampling. The questionnaire of this research was given to 600 white collar employees who are working in the headquarter and 81 regional centers; 405 questionnaires were gathered back and analyzed. It was found that leadership styles affected organizational silence in the research. The hypotheses of this research were accepted. It is expected that the research will provide resources to further researches in this field.

    More than 99% of enterprises in Turkey are SMEs (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises). Turkish SMEs try to expand into foreign markets. They want to increase their competitive advantages both in domestic and foreign markets. The purpose of this paper is to determine internationalization process and international processes of Turkish SMEs. The study was conducted on 267 SMEs in Istanbul in Turkey. Frequency distibution analyses and Chi-square analyses were applied to the data. It is found out that Turkish SMEs internationalize gradually as it was explained in Uppsala Theory.     The purposes of this paper are to examine the concept, types, reasons, methods, consequences and remedies of bullying and propose the comprehensive bullying model summarizing reasons, methods, consequences and remedies of bullying to prevent and get rid of it in organizations. First of all, it is expected that this paper will make contributions to academicians who will conduct studies in the field of bullying. It is also expected that this paper will make contributions to managers and entrepreneurs to be aware of harms of bullying, train HR professionals and all employees about them, prevent and get rid of bullying behaviors and bullies in their organization.
