Congratulations! Your organization has made the decision to make a change: now what? How well thought out is the change? Do you have the resources to sufficiently generate the outcome you desire? Is the change even the right change? And most importantly, how do organizations make changes without destroying what has taken so much effort to build up?
Change is not easy. The larger the organization, the more difficult and intricate the change process is. When attempting to change course or change the process with which the organization operates, major pitfalls loom on either side of the coin. In order to ensure successful change implementation, organizational change experts are a necessity. These experts successfully implement change as a vocation: they are true experts in their field. While your primary care physician is probably an excellent doctor, you may not want them performing your open-heart surgery or chemotherapy treatment. While your organization may be outstanding in its particular field, when implementing substantive change, you should turn to the experts in the field of change, the change consultants.

3M was a company first established to mine corundum ("About 3M Mining & Metallurgy", 2019). History records the failure of 3M to successfully mine corundum: however, the products they discovered on their way to failure set the company up for more than 100 years of success. The key to the success of 3M was in their exploratory nature and their resilience to failure. These two ideologies, above all else, have allowed 3M to become the titan of innovation and creativity they are today.

The book The Lean Startup has developed methods that could help the video game developers and publishers create great products with less risk. There are two main points that the video game industry should utilize in order to achieve maximum success with The Lean Startup method. The first thing is the utilization of the scientific method during the launch and promotion of the game. Using the scientific method will assist the publishers and developers in determining what the consumers are looking for and how to address problems. The second idea is the ability to pivot. Developers should build systems that allow their games and digital products to pivot in many different directions based on consumer response.

The way you lead matters. Leadership effects every aspect of a church. The successes and failures found in a church can be attributed to the proficiency of the leadership team. The methods and tools that you use as well as your leadership style will dictate how well or poorly leaders are created and developed within your local church community. Leaders that have been developed by you will go on and have a major impact on the culture of your church. On a macro level, different organizations have different cultures due to the leadership methods, styles, and the design of hierarchy. As you zoom in, you will find that local assemblies are culturally a reflection of the leadership characteristics of those in charge. A church with a dictatorial leadership model will have a different cultural feel to it than one whose leadership delegates and empowers the people. Leadership methods matter greatly because they will impact your local assembly for decades to come.

Some key traits of entrepreneurs are diligence, the acquisition of skills, and an appetite for calculated risk. These specific traits are glorified many times throughout Biblical texts as both a blessing from God and aspiration worthy. The Bible repeatedly condemns the lazy and boasts of the industrious. I will argue that those that desire to be pleasing to God should be both faithful and profitable. This concept, I believe, extends to both the spiritual and the mundane aspects of each Christian’s life. Whether it be through one’s prayer life, familial life, or job, regardless of vocation, Christians should seek to be both diligent and profitable.

Early Christianity is a study on timing. Divine in origin, Christianity was birthed at an ideal time in the history of man. Capitalizing on the rigorous teachings of Judaism, the accessibility of the Roman Empire, and the universality of the Greek language, Christianity came to dominate the entire world’s ethical and moral bearings. There are many contributors to the rapid spread of Christianity that may be applied to organizations. However, due to the constraints of this project, this paper outlines three concepts that stand out about early Christianity that can be adapted and applied to organizations to produce excellent results. Perhaps three of the greatest aspects of Christianity’s rise to dominance came in the form of the Great Commission, the priesthood of all believers, and its cultural flexibility. With a clear mission, and proper incentives and utilization, along with the flexibility to achieve one’s goals, an organization, like Christianity, will come to dominate its market.

Purpose • This article explores how leaders might potentially be cultivated within an organization. Design/methodology/approach-This article is an amalgamation of numerous articles, books, and general leadership literature. The goal was to synthesize the writings into a simple method to ensure sufficient understanding and easy implementation of leadership development techniques. Findings • Leadership seems to be learned rather than taught. Any organization desiring to cultivate leaders must provide the right amount of instruction with the right environment. Leadership requires chaos and independence to fully develop.

Purpose- Intelligence can make or break the effectiveness of a leader. Cognitive intelligence is no longer the only intelligence that must be achieved and maintained, but leaders that are serious about success must also develop in the areas of emotional and social intelligence. Developing these three areas of intelligence will give leaders an edge in communication and assist in creating an environment that has clarity of vision as well as avoiding detrimental results that can arise when these areas are ignored.

Purpose- The early church leaders were not silent on their expectations about the conduct of Christians or individuals who sought leadership offices within the church community. These expectations of the early church solidified the ethical norms that all Christians were expected to use as a framework by which to build their new lives as followers of Christ. Borrowing heavily from the Old Testament and Jewish custom, the early church created a foundation for morality that still guides almost every sect of Christianity today.

Purpose- The problem of Islamic migrants in Austria is reaching a crisis point. Heinz Christian Strache is one of the political leaders in Austria spearheading the resolution of the issues rising out of increased migration of this demographic. Strache proposes to ban all Islamic symbolism in order to preserve native culture and prevent Islamic ideals from overtaking Austrian society and government. This resolution is problematic as it further exacerbates tensions and does not resolve the issue of Islamic migrants refusal to embrace Western European culture or ideals. This paper utilizes the migrant crisis in Austria to highlight leadership theory, analyzing Strache’s leadership position and the long and short-term ramifications of implementing his party’s platform. This paper discusses the leadership implications and issues, and proposes potential leadership solutions that would provide a more positive outcome.
