Surviving the crash, she and several Joes were hit by an energy wave that turned them into Dire Wraith hybrids. Rom was able to use his Neutralizer to knock out the hybrids, who were then taken into custody. Crisis Intervention

Garrison Blackrock was able to use Metrotitan to broadcast an energy wave to restore the Dire Wraith hybrids to their original forms. Ghost in the Machine
Notes
- Quarrel was originally introduced as a part of Action Force, a line of military-themed action figures that came to include G.I. Joe molds and later actual G.I. Joe characters after Palitoy got the license from Hasbro. Quarrel was derived from the mold for original G.I. Joe team member Scarlett, and originally hailed from Switzerland.
- Quarrel would later become part of the US G.I. Joe line when a new version (also redecoed from Scarlett) was released by the G.I. Joe Collectors' Club Figure Subscription Service in 2013.
- Her original Action Force profile said she was an expert with Cantonese butterfly knives: hence the pun in "Escape from Primus" that she's a "Swiss Army Knife Expert".
- In the 2005-2018 IDW comics, it's not clear if Quarrel is British in-story, but Jed Dougherty's cover for Revolutionaries #1 shows her with a Union Jack armband, like that found on her 2013 Fun Publications G.I. Joe Collectors Club-exclusive toy. The shuriken more commonly associated with Scarlett, molded onto her toy's forearm, are also shown.
