Social and morphological transformations in tourist destinations cannot imply a redefinition or e... more Social and morphological transformations in tourist destinations cannot imply a redefinition or even a discontinuity of what we hear about tourism authenticity. The latter is altered by changes in the destination, but also by the discontinuity of the imagination, the expectations and the experience of the visitors. The present paper aims to supply a dialectic between the discontinuity of authenticity and the authenticity of discontinuity. The post-modern idea of authenticity is supported, an authenticity constructed, relative and negotiated at the same time as it is fragmented and protean, revealing a new figure of subjectivity. Then it sheds light on the perspectives of one of the characterization of authenticity that deserves to be highlighted in the case of Western tourism in Marrakech, namely, the authenticity of discontinuity.
The main objective of the study is to provide recommendations on the dimensions that feed the authenticity of discontinuity, which are symptomatic of the discontinuity that characterizes the concept of authenticity. The Data will be collected and then analyzed through semi-structured interviews with French-speaking tourists, locals, service providers and business managers in Marrakech.

The purpose of our work is to seek and understand the prospects for development and possible use of archaeological sites. Thus, the archeotourism makes sense, introducing sustainable management of heritage through the association of regional economic development, protection of rock sites and education heritage. The terms heritage and tourism are marked by the extension of their fields of application. Feeding on a game of reciprocity. Heritage being presented as a tourist resort and tourism as a factor of heritage conservation.

comme des « barbarians, the suntan destroyers of culture » (p. 309). Quelques auteurs pointent
cependant ces excès. Ainsi Mac Canell écrit-il en 1976 « it isintellectually chic nowadays to deride
tourists » (p.9).

It is a theme still little explored. Recent studies in the field of biology point to the existence of ancient pre-12th century post-Christ occupations on almost every island in these archipelagos. Since the emergence of rock art associated with many undated contexts, make this region one of the least known in all of Europe, it is intended to contribute in this way to the scientific discussion and its dissemination. The most frequent motifs in the rock art of the region are the circles, the meanders, cup-marks, the podomorphs, the serpentifoms, spirals, the anthropomorphs and the alphabetical inscriptions. Situated at a crossroads between Europe and Africa, the rock art of this region reflects a varied set of influences, especially from the Late Bronze Age, probably reflecting a time when contacts with these regions would be made more regularly.
Some studies that have been done on landscape analysis, archaeosastronomy, pointing out the connection of these engravings to rituals of fertility, cycles of nature, mountain and water. Clearly a totemic, polytheistic and naturalistic view of how they viewed their World and the Cosmos.

This revelation constituted a defining moment in Moroccan archaeology, as it met with a highlevel official interaction and unprecedented media interest due to the evidence and facts it contained. The discovery was of great importance thus enriching the discussion on issues of global importance, especially with regards to rewriting the first chapters of the history of civilisation. This accordso a scenario that holds the African continent, and Morocco at the forefront of investigation and research into the origins of humnanity. The momentum generated by this revelation provides an opportunity to formulate questions that stimulate reflection on the archaeological reality of our country after a century or more of attendance and practice. For this paper we will focus on two basic issues that help us understand this reality. The first discusses the extent to which archaeology is rooted in the research system of Morocco. Here, we consider the following research question: Can we as archaeologists accept the consequences of a genetically linked association with colonialism? Have archaeologists missed the opportunity for emancipation after being classified by postindependence governments as a luxury of knowledge that cannot be afforded to provide the necessary logistical capabilities and scientific skills? Moreover, we question the issues concerning international cooperation that has established itself as an inevitable alternative to the potential for influencing trends and priorities. We also discuss the role of the National Institute of Archaeology and Heritage (INSAP) which was formed in 1985 by the Ministry of Culture. Did this organisation achieve the aims and objectives for which it was created? What were the main obstacles that limited the effectiveness of the field research programmess that were framed and the training courses undertaken? Finally, this paper will discuss the future of Moroccan archaeology by targeting some of the premises which include overcoming interdisciplinary divisions, and working towards overlapping and crossspecialty studies, linking research issues to the cultural and social transformations known to Moroccan society; and rising the challenge of opening up to a professional labour market in order to raise standards in archaeology within this extraordinary part of the world.
