The national cinematographies became fortified, proposing their own style of narrative, esthetic and ways of production. In this paper, we analyze two cases of films produced at the exact moment of the coup d'etat in Chile and in Brazil, which were re-signified about 20 years later: Chile, la memoria obstinada, by Patrício Guzmán and Cabra marcado para morrer, by Eduardo Coutinho. Both films register what did happened with the "ordinary" people who lived the moment of the coup and of the production of the originals films, re-signify the historical events and trigger individual memories that became historical-collective memories by the action of the films.

Some of the best directors in cinema history, such as Welles, Hitchcock, Kalatozov, Antonioni, Scorsese, Sokurov and much others, are prominent by the use of this technical and narrative device. Andre Bazin was one of the greatest defenders of the long take as a creative feature of the “effect of real”. Nowadays, the long tracking shots by the Hungarian director Béla Taar stand out. The Turin Horse (A torinói ló – Hungary – 2011) was inspired by the episode in Turin that supposedly triggered the process of madness of Nietzsche. The horse owner who spanked the horse and shocked the German philosopher goes home and we see six days of his life with his daughter – six long, silent, windy and repetitive days, beautifully photographed in long takes in black and white. Those long takes tell about life and time, are an important discursive resource. This interpretation leads us to the concept of cinema and long tracking shot by Pasolini. The Italian thinker and artist states that life is similar to cinema, as film is similar to death and the long take is like our experience of reality. The singularity of Pasolini's theory is that he states the similarity of the cinema with reality (our experience, mostly audiovisual, with the world that surrounds us) but advocates and practices a “new formalism” in film. Hart, adapted from the gothic novel "Dracula" by the Irish writer Bram Stoker. Therefore, it is an exemplary film for a discussion about the process of Transposition from Literature to Cinema. The Intersemiotic Transposition seeks equivalencies and differences between the texts and the two art forms. Thus, those are factors that underlie the creative choices and in addition also relate the function and the context of production and of reception of the target text. In Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the essence of Gothic narrative and the imaginary about the vampire characters in movies are restated. For instance, we analyze the intermediality (between novel and film) and intertextuality (between films, the cinematic "texts"). The character of undead, which is in principle dubious, performs a dual role of hero and monster. Thus, considering all fictional characters as the zero point of space-time coordinates, we can state that the character of Dracula in this film is responsible for the parallelism established between the horror story and the romantic drama.
