Thus, we intend to evaluate the statements (and why not types of discourses?) that were made about Folk Linguistics in the academic environment - how they were constituted textually over time and in different geographies - while reflecting on their constitution as a linguistic fact, especially if we look at the manifestations of non-specialists in matters of language and language. Our primary objects (texts on Folk Linguistics) are analyzed through their insertion in a broader circuit of Linguistics, considering their position in current studies in light of the horizon of retrospection it-self (AUROUX, 1992) which leads us, for example, to the text from Bloom-field, 1944, when referring to secondary and tertiary language data. Finally, especially thinking about more recent publications in this field of studies, we intend to verify or indicate trends and research horizons in this field of studies in Brazil.

The linguistic practices carried out by these non-linguists can reveal very diversified strategies regarding the construction of spontaneous theories about language, aligned or not with the formalized theories already enshrined in a scientific and academic environment. Later, for the discussion and analysis of these linguistic practices (how they can be categorized, how they can be used, ...) we use the text A Gramatiquinha da Fala Brasileira by Mario da Andrade (PINTO, 1990). Our investigation intends to verify how these spontaneous linguistic practices (descriptivists, normativists, interventionists and activists) are carried out by Mario de Andrade and how they can be observed, based on the author's comments, as comments on language that could eventually characterize him as a folk linguist.

The objective is to generate a group of semantically annotated documents in agreement with a domain ontology. To provide this domain ontology, the Linguistic Instrument Ontology was employed, and it supported the process of automatic semantic annotation. The results obtained with the annotation were analyzed in comparison with the Gold Standard and they presented an elevated level of coincidence, between 0.86 and 1.00 for the F1-score measure. Besides that, it was possible to locate new documents about the discussed domain in a sample of the Revistas Brazileiras. These results prove the efficacy of the approach of automatic semantic annotation.
