Sermo Reservoir is a reservoir with rock fill dam that has some functions such as irrigation or tourism. In 2008, Sermo Reservoir was included as one of the reservoir with the high level risk damage dam in Indonesia. Based on these conditions, it can be done a research to learn the effect of water reservoir fluctuations with respect to dam elevation in Sermo Reservoir. In this research, position of the dam was represented by prism elevation that distributed in the upstream and downstream. The results of this research can be used as the basic for decision making of monitoring and maintenance in Sermo Reservoir. This research uses the prism elevation from Robotic Total Station Leica TM30 and the reservoir water level from Automatic Water Level Recorder (AWLR) has installed in the Sermo Reservoir. Data of the prism elevation and the reservoir water level are processed by simple linear regression using software IBM SPSS Statistics 19. Moreover, it can be obtained correlation and significance between the reservoir water level and the prism elevation on dam. The average of correlation value between reservoir water level and elevation of the prism on dam is 0,33. The value shows there is a relation between reservoir water level and the prism elevation on dam. The effect of changed reservoir water level to prism elevation is significantly occurred on the prism in the upstream dam body. Based on regression equation of each prism, it can be obtained average value of independent variable coefficient is 0,000401816. It indicates by 1 meter reservoir water level movement means that the elevation of the prism will move as much as 0,4 mm.
