    Karakteristik dan Emisi Pembakaran pada Briket Campuran Biomasa-Lignit. The biomass briquette is an alternative energy resources for the home industries as well as the power generations in many countries. In this study, the combustion behavior and emission characteristic of bio-briquettes from carbonized biomass (e.q.; Rice-hull and teak wood) and lignite coal blended are comprehensively investigated. The biomass used in this experiment consists of 50% rice husk and 50% teakwood. Biomass (B) and lignite (C) were mixed together with a composition of 50% C/B, 70% C/B and 100% C/B respectively. All compositions were added with 30% binder from cassava. Each composition was selected 3grams, 4 grams and 5 grams to be briquetted inside a cylindrical molding (17mm diameter) and pressed under 100kg/cm 2. Therefore, anticipatory and preventive steps are needed to overcome these problems. One of the efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus is to regularly wash hands and use hand sanitizers. However, not everyone is able to prepare hand sanitizers and not all public places are provided with hand washing facilities and hand sanitizers, even if there are, special personnel (operators) are needed to spray sanitizer and check body temperature with a thermo gun from a very close distance, which of course is this. It is also very vulnerable to the transmission of Covid-19.     Efisiensi maksimum turbin angin/air konvensional dikenal sebagai Betz Limit (0.59). Parameter batas ini ini nampaknya ini tidak hanya diakibatkan oleh cacat desain. Secara aerodinamis, beberapa referensi menjelaskan ekspansi aliran ke arah hilir dengan faktor dua terhadap daerah rotor menjadi penyebab dari fenomena batas ini. Meskipun banyak dari referensi ini menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan fenomena batas ini, pembahasan yang komprehensif mengenai alasan untuk ekspansi aliran tampaknya masih kurang dieksplorasi.     The aim of this study is to assess the technical, economical and environmental aspects on the application of the solar energy technology in Southeast Sulawesi, a developing province in eastern part of Indonesia. Mathematical models of the solar radiation falling on a tilted surface, the levelised cost of energy, and the solar lifecycle greenhouse gas and land use equivalent are employed to perform the assessments under a scenario of 5% solar power contribution in the electricity generation mix. The result shows that the solar technology incorporated by tracking system generates the high annual energy generated. Under some technical and economical scenarios, it is possible for the technology to obtain lower energy costs than the solar feed-in-tariff and the electricity production costs from other sources. The solar power not only generates low carbon emission, but also requires less land use, relatively to the availability land in this province.

    Dead time merupakan waktu mulai bekerjanya auto reclose sampai inisiasi kontak menutup kembali pada circuit breaker yang ada pada auto reclose relay. Kegagalan dead time beroperasi akan menyebabkan padam sebagian bahkan hingga padam total. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui kinerja dead time auto reclose relay line Lasusua 1 dan 2 pada Gardu Induk Malili. Metode yang digunakan yaitu perhitungan nilai dead time untuk meninjau kelayakan setting existing auto reclose dan pengujian unjuk kerja menggunakan CMC Omicron 356. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil dead time sebesar 629 ms sedang nilai setting SPAR (single phase auto reclose) dan TPAR (three phase auto reclose) sebesar 1 detik dan 5 detik.

    Penelitian ini menganalisa kerusakan yang terjadi pada Refraktori Boiler Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap di PLTU Punagaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengapa pola pembebanan unit yang berubah-ubah dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada refractory boiler. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) serta pembuktian perhitungan Cold Crushing Strength (CCS). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa data kecepatan aliran flue gas masuk cyclone yang melebihi spesifikasi (<35 m/s) dan data kekuatan CCS refractory aktual yang menunjukan nilai 43 MPa menjadi penyebab dari pembebanan yang tidak stabil yang merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab dari kerusakan refractory boiler.

    Saham merupakan surat berharga yang dapat diperdagangkan. Fluktuasi harga saham dapat dimanfaatkan oleh trader untuk mendapatkan keuntungan. Untuk melihat pergerakan harga saham dapat dilihat dari Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG). Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi indeks harga saham gabungan dengan mengkombinasikan antara analisis teknis dan menggunakan algoritma gradient boosting. Hasil eksperimen didapatkan perbedaan akurasi antara model dengan kombinasi dan tanpa kombinasi. Akurasi model kombinasi sebesar 86,79% dan RMSE sebesar 0,00786, dibandingkan dengan model tanpa kombinasi akurasinya 74.60% dan RMSE 0,01048. Sedangkan dari F-test didapatkan, P-value sebesar 1,457x10-147. Nilai P<0,05 memiliki nilai signifikansi penerimaan sehingga model yang diusulkan dapat diterima.

Hal tersebut  menyebabkan  40%  sampai  70%  pasien  kanker  payudara  datang  ke  dokter  dal am  status kanker stadium lanjut. Pendeteksian dini kanker payudara adalah sangat penting untuk membantu penanganan  penyakit  kanker  payudara  secara  cepat.     Climate change in Indonesia is receiving a lot of concern as the nation is the top ten world largest emitter of the greenhouse gases. To relieve the concern, Indonesia had proposed to cut the gas emissions by 26 percent by 2020 from business-as-usual (BAU) levels and proposed a 41 percent emission reduction below BAU target conditional to international support for Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs). This study deals with the strategy in reducing the acceleration of the greenhouse gas emission from the power sector in Southeast Sulawesi, a developing province in Indonesia with its high electricity demand in recent years. It calculates of the annual greenhouse emission from the electricity generation mix in this province, using the projected annual electricity generation and projected power plants installed under the power supply business plan (RPUTL) of the state electricity company (PLN Indonesia) and the lifecycle carbon dioxide emission equivalent. Some scenarios are proposed, by varying the power generation mix in the case of inclusion and exclusion the projected clean renewable powers in the year of 2020 and 2022. The result shows that in 2020, by the inclusion of the projected clean renewable powers in the power generation mix (around 5 percent), it can reduce the annual greenhouse gas emission almost 6 percent. In 2022, by maintaining the amount of the power generation from fossil sources as those in 2020 and maximizing the use of the clean powers in the electricity generation mix (around 20 percent), under the power provision plan, it can reduce the emission by 26 percent.

    The role of university to raise the awareness on the importance of the clean renewable energy development for communities is so indispensible. The application of the solar energy technology in the university area to support the electricity generation could be an appropriate starting point to deliver the awareness to students, the representation of the community in the campus. Halu Oleo University, one of the universities in Southeast Sulawesi, a developing province in eastern part of Indonesia with still current lack of the energy access, has potential to contribute in generating the student’s awareness by applying of the solar technology in the campus area. One of the important initial stages to apply this technology in the campus is to obtain the information on the solar energy potential and the appropriate strategies for the technology to obtain high sun power output. This information should be very useful in determining whether the technology will be technically and economically feasible. The aim of this study is to assess the potential solar energy, the technical strategy and the economic on the application of the photovoltaic (PV) energy technology in the campus area of Halu Oleo University Indonesia. The mathematical model of the solar radiation falling on a tilted surface, combined with the data of the solar global radiation obtained from the NASA Langley Research Center Atmospheric Science Data Center Surface meteorological and Solar Energy (SSE) web portal and the economical model of the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) are utilized to perform the assessment. It proposes some technical strategies on various tilt angle and orientation on a solar PV panel. The result shows that the potential annual solar energy is around 2092 KWH/m2 annually. In the technical strategy aspect, positioning the panel parallel to the earth surface can derive the high annual energy generation (around 209 KWH/m2) and potentially obtain the lower energy cost than those of the government solar energy purchased price (Feed-in Tariff) and some other energy costs.

    This paper describes an application of the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) technique in signal segmentation of fault records. The segmentation is important pre-processing step required for automated analysis of data recorded during faults on transmission lines. The proposed technique achieves reliable and automated segmentation of three-phase voltage and current signals in pre-fault, fault and fault-cleared stationary signal segments. The main goal of an investigation is to find the cause of a recorded disturbance. Nowadays, it is common practice in power utilities, that a large number of disturbance records are collected due
