This work is about trans*masculinities in queer spaces in berlin. literally, it asks if trans*masculinieties are included in this spaces. and if so, can it be recognized at all layers of space, the social, the mental and the physical? to answer this question i worked with the theory of henri lefebvre about the production of space. for each space-layer i invented a method to take data and transferred the meta-space-theory of lefevbre to the micro-level my research took place. the outcome of my work was pretty surprising on one hand... even though there is knowledge about the existing of trans*masculinities in these spaces and they are very welcome, my work showed that this is only true on a verbal sense. i found deficits on all space-layers aspecially the physical.
