For this, two country songs were selected, one from 1926 and the other from 2028, in order to identify which musical elements have been transformed and which have been preserved over the time and under the influence of the rural exodus process. Through bibliographic research, we found that our country has undergone through a significant urbanization, especially since the 1960s and this fact, aggravated by the influence of the cultural industry, caused changes in habits, actions and, consequently, caused changes in people's listening places; the wiretaps that were made and produced in the rural environment differ in many of the wiretaps that are made and produced in urban environments today. It is a private university located in the western state of São Paulo, and the entrance to the course is through the entrance exam of general knowledge and there is no test of specific skill. Thus, some students in their minority, enter without previous musical knowledge. Accordingly as train future music educators when the university is for some first contact with music? This paper seeks to report the challenges encountered in forming the music teacher who enters into higher education without systematic knowledge about the musical language and purpose of this course is to overcome this difficulty. Thus was conducted desk research analyzing the Pedagogical Project Course and the reports of extension projects. The Educational Project presents some alternatives proposed by the Core of Professors to address the difficulty of receiving students, even in their minority, who have no prior musical knowledge. They are: the inclusion of disciplines basic theory in the first year of the course, the perception of music in all semesters, practice singing and / or melodical instruments in the initial semesters, and disciplines of musical practice in collective semester final . The Core of Professors has also chosen to provide outreach projects, offered free to students with difficulties in musical theory and perception and the interested community. It was noticed a significant improvement of these students, however, are not all involved in the project with only regular classes of graduation occurring at night. Graduation requires teachers to conduct reviews more rigid and clear to the student. On the oder hand the students should be mindful that musical practice and mastery of language are fundamental to their teacher training. Require more dedication of students causes a considerable dropout rate, but ensures adequate training. With the performance of graduates in music in schools, local society will gradually turning and coming to higher education with a more solid musical experience. Thus, we believe it is possible to train music teachers who enter higher education without prior musical knowledge, since, aware of their condition, to experience all the proposals of the university to optimize their musical practice.

ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss the importance of teaching music in the initial formation of the pedagogue. The hypothesis adopted in this work is that, in the education of the pedagogue, music is fundamental for the development of individuals, making possible a new pedagogical practice in the school environment. To do so, the research is bibliographic and uses as sources the Laws and other official documents that establish norms and guidelines in order to verify the limits and reaches that the music content provides. We conclude that despite the lack of clarity of content and methodologies in music presented in the Official Documents it is important that the pedagogue does not regard this content as entertainment, but rather seeks in his initial training course the basis for a solid and creative practice when approaching music in his Classrooms.

ABSTRACT Music was, throughout the Middle Ages, regarded as an area of knowledge and belonging to the Quadrivium, the highest division of the Liberal Arts. During this period many musical treatises were written under the influence of Ancient Greece mainly of philosophers like Pythagoras, Plato and Aristotle. In the thirteenth century, with the formation of cities and the emergence of Universities, the teaching of music remained in Quadrivium along with other knowledge related to mathematics. In this article, through a theoretical approach, we describe the social space that the music was in the context of the formation of the universities and draw possible parallels with the teaching of music in the Brazilian universities. We verified that there is currently an appreciation of instrumental music highlighting the performance of musicians as an influence of the social changes of music occurred in the Modern Age thus distancing itself from the social function it had in universities in the thirteenth century.

ABSTRACT The research aimed to analyze the possibilities of development of rhythmic perception through electronic game Let's Tap. To this end, researchers have played, recorded and analyzed sixteen phases, as the game has, to identify how the rhythmic difficulties were addressed in developing phases. It was found that the game challenges the musical perceptive capacity of the player with respect to musical rhythm and sounds of different intensities, through phases-songs that are composed of different rhythmic cells at various levels of difficulty. The early stages have simpler cells, with notes on strong compass times, and the final stages have more complex cells that exploit the setbacks and syncopated rhythms. To be used as an educational resource, it is essential that the teacher knows the game, his musical possibilities and also its limitations in addressing only a tonal repertoire.
