Despite being one of the most important tools for any professional work, oral expression suffers from lack of attention in the educational environment. Deficiencies in students' oral skills come to light every time a research evaluating them is published. In this scenario arises Esp@cio Podc@st, a simple and fun web application that uses podcasting to improve oral expression in Primary School. Esp@cio Podc@st is an innovative educational resource whose conception reflects the duality of the term “edutainment”: it is designed to educate and entertain at the same time, stimulating among their users the curiosity of orality in an entertaining and attractive way.

This paper describes and analyzes Viaje al Centro de la Radio as a transmedia literacy proposal to promote radio culture between young people in the digital environment. We demonstrate the validity of this innovative proposal through a mixed qualitative and quantitative methodology in a sample over 120 ESO and Bachillerato students belong to 10 schools from Salamanca (Spain).
