iPot

In collaboration with Alexandra Gavrilova.
iPot is a device for performing a digital tea ceremony. An automated mechanism puts Chinese tea balls in a tank of water being heated. Blooming in hot water like a flower, tea becomes not only a drink, but also a starting point to create a small audio-visual artwork.
The movement of a flower opening up is being caught on camera and transforming in real-time abstract digital animation and sound. As for tea, it is served to the public. Every brew is unique, not only in terms of taste but also as a piece of digital art. Generative compositions are transformed into NFT subsequently accessible for buying.
