Jurgen Moltmann stands as one of the most important and influential theologians of the 20th century.  After providing a brief biographical sketch and discussion of the philosophical commitment to a distinctly eschatological theology, the paper explores the key features of Moltmann's theological method and his doctrine of God.  Special attention is paid to his proposal of dynamic relatiionality (or perichoresis), his identification of the immanent Trinity with the economic Trinity, his view of divine passibility, and his conception of God in terms of panentheism.  The paper concludes with a critique of Moltmann's views, paying close attention to his strengths and ongoing revelation while also showing why many of his controversial proposals remain unconvincing.

Wright.  After this summary, each of these distinctives is critiqued, with special attention paid to how the "New Perspective" threatens the centrality of the traditional Reformation doctrine of justification.

This paper argues that the book of Job is the Bible's most complete examination of humanity's struggle with God's hidden will.  The thesis is that the major theme of Job revolves around the concepts of knowledge and wisdom.  As the Job and friends progress through their dialogue, many assertions are made about God and his hidden will.  Only when God "breaks in" to the discussion are we confronted with God's final answer to humanity's attempt to access his hidden will.
