VEDIC METEOROLOGY 2024 GLOBAL WEATHER FORECAST Vedic Meteorology Forecasts are published in https://tamilnadumandram.com and https://independent.academia.edu/RamachandranSeshadri I have been Validating my forecasts with the related weather events as and when they unfold in my Twitter and Facebook pages: https://twitter.com/seshchandran?s=08 https://www.facebook.com/ramachandran.seshadri MAIN POINTS: (1) 1(A) [for the northern hemisphere ] Warmer and moderate WINTER is forecast (between Lat 20 deg N & Lat 40 deg N ) Catastrophic Heavy Icy rainfall and CLOUDBURST are forecast from the third week of December, 2023 till the first few days of March 2024. During the above period Heavy snowfall and Blizzards are warned around & above Latitude 35 deg N. High Altitude hilly regions (In comparison to the mid level and the plains) will experience Massive snowfall & Avalanches warned. Between the first week of March2024 and third week end of April, 2024 Bomb Cyclones, devastating midlatitude cyclones, tornadoes Hailstorms and localized thunderstorms and KILLER LIGHTNINGS are warned. “HOT & Wet Spring” is forecast during the above period. During the above period Powerful Typhoon in the west Pacific and Super Cyclone/hurricane in the Atlantic is forecast. Record High temperature will be experienced during the above period between Lat 20 deg N & Lat 45 deg N. Polar Vortex is forecast between 27th December, 2023 and 7th, January, 2024. These conditions will prevail in the North American continent, Europe, Turkey, Central Asia, China, Japan & North Indian states bordering the Himalayas. 1(B) [for the southern hemisphere) Different weather conditions will prevail on :(a) lower half of the southern hemisphere and (b) the upper regions & around Torrid zone. From the last week of December, 2023 till the first few days of March, 2024 “Dry and windy conditions” will be experienced in (a) ; during the same period, “Warm & Wet conditions” with Abnormal Heavy to Very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, CLOUDBURST are forecast for (b). From the beginning of March, 2024 till the middle of April, 2024 Moderate Positive Indian Ocean dipole is forecast. During the above period for (b) Tropical Cyclones, Cell storms, Hail storms, and flash floods due to heavy to very heavy rainfall are forecast and Dry and drought conditions are forecast. for (a) These Drought conditions will progressively become more Severe till 2027.These conditions will prevail in South Pacific countries, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand & countries around it, Latin American countries, Central, southeast African countries and South Indian Ocean countries. Page (2) (2) 2024 GLOBAL WEATHER FORECAST 2(A) [for the northern hemisphere] From the middle of April, 2024 till the first few days of June, 2024 Heat wave conditions, Catastrophic floods due to extremely heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, Tornadoes, Powerful Cyclones/Typhoons and hurricanes are forecast. These conditions will be experienced more between Lat 20 deg N & Lat 40 deg N and the tropical regions above the equator will experience dry weather with occasional rainfall. Above Lat 40 deg N & in High Altitude hilly regions; Massive icy rainfall/Snowfall Blizzards is warned due to powerful Anti-Cyclonic circulations. Couple of Hurricane before the start of 2024 hurricane season is forecast. These conditions will prevail in the North American continent, Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Central Asia, China, Japan & North Indian states bordering the Himalayas. 2(B) [for the southern hemisphere] From the middle of April, 2024 till the first few days of June, 2024 a couple of Tropical Cyclones, Typhoons, Cell storms, Hail storms Thunderstorms, Tornadoes and flash floods due to Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall are forecast. These conditions will be experienced across Intertropical Convergence Zone(ITCZ) and at the lower half of southern mid-latitude zone. Central, eastern Australia and countries in the southern mid-latitude region will experience ‘Sever drought conditions”. These conditions will continue till 2026 and start tapering down from 2027. These conditions will prevail in South Pacific countries, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand & countries around it, Latin American countries, Central, southeast African countries and South Indian Ocean countries. #Southern hemisphere “WINTER”: 2024 Winter over the Southern hemisphere will be recording “Lower temperatures “in comparison to 2023. Beginning June, 2024 till the third week of August, 2024 Blizzards, Widespread heavy to very heavy snowfall/Icy rainfall are forecast for the southern mid-latitude region, but the region bordering tropic of Capricorn will experience heavy to very heavy Icy rainfall causing widespread flooding. From 2023 the Southern mid-latitude regions will be experiencing progressively “Harsher Winter” with 2025, 2026 and 2027 being peak years. Possibility of Antarctica recording Very High temperatures during these years are Very High. 3 (A) (for the northern hemisphere) Heat wave conditions with Very Hot & Abnormal Humidity levels will upset normal life in the Northern hemisphere till the early days of October, 2024. These conditions will be experienced more between Lat 20 deg N to Lat 40 deg N. (i) From the middle of June till the third week of August, 2024 Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall causing catastrophic floods due to Extra-tropical cyclonic circulations, Anti-Cyclones and Thunderstorms are forecast. Page (3) (3) 2024 GLOBAL WEATHER FORECAST Cont’d (3) (A for the northern hemisphere) (ii) From the last week of August till the early days of October, 2024 Spate of Hurricanes, Typhoons, Cyclones & Extra-Tropical Cyclone are forecast. These conditions will prevail in the North American continent, Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Central Asia, China, Japan & North Indian states bordering the Himalayas. For the north Torrid Zone “ABOVE the Equator”: (i) From the beginning of June till the third week of August, 2024 “Progressively Hot, Dry and Drought conditions” are forecast and (ii) Catastrophic floods are warned from the last week of August till the early days of October, 2024 due to “Extra-Tropical Cyclone than Hurricanes, Typhoons, and Cyclones”. These conditions will be experienced in the Northeast, Central, equatorial African countries, the Middle East Peninsular India, South Asian countries, and Equatorial, Central Southern tropic of Latin American countries. The changes in the Global weather conditions over the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere will be progressing in a “Sine wave pattern”. 3 (B) (for the southern hemisphere) For the south Torrid Zone “BELOW the Equator”: (i) From the middle of June’2024 and the third week of August, 2024, Very Hot, Dry and Drought conditions are forecast. (ii) During the above period Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall causing catastrophic floods is forecast for regions between Latitude 15 deg S to Latitude 35 deg S, (iii) Due to Positive Indian Ocean dipole from the last week of August till the early days of October, 2024 spate of Tropical Cyclones, Sub-Tropical Cyclonic circulations will cause catastrophic floods and devastations. These conditions will be experienced in the Intertropical Convergence Zone(ITCZ), African countries around the tropic of Capricorn, southern Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile and South Pacific countries Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand 4 (A) (for the northern hemisphere) Catastrophic flooding due to extra tropical cyclonic circulations, localized thunder storms are forecast from the beginning of October’2024 and till the end of November, 2024. North Atlantic hurricane season will come to an end with a Hurricane crossing the coast in the Gulf of Mexico during the first week of December, 2024. Continued ……. Page (4) (4) 2024 GLOBAL WEATHER FORECAST #WINTER: 2024 Winter will be “Moderate, Windy with more Icy rainfall than snowfall till the end of November, 2024. Devastating floods due to “Atmospheric River” effect rainfall is forecast for the western regions of USA. These conditions will be experienced between Lat 30 deg N to Lat 50 deg N. These conditions will re-emerge from the middle of December, 2024 and will continue till April, 2025. POLAR VORTEX 2024 is forecast around 28th Dec’2024. Blizzards with heavy to very heavy snowfall/Icy rainfall are forecast between the first week of December, 2024 and middle of February, 2025. These conditions will prevail in the North American continent, Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Central Asia, China, Japan & North Indian states bordering the Himalayas. 4 (A) (for the northern hemisphere) Cont’d: 4 (B) (for the southern hemisphere) Hot and Wet Spring is forecast from the beginning of October, 2024 till the end of November, 2024. Spate of Convective activities due to Extremely Hot and Heat wave conditions will result in Cell storms Hail storms with isolated Heavy to very Heavy rainfall causing catastrophic floods. From the beginning of December, 2024 till the middle of February, 2025 emergence of “Positive Indian Ocean Di-Pole” is forecast. During the above period spate of Tropical Cyclones, thunderstorms will upset normal life. Severe drought is forecast. These conditions will prevail in the mid-latitude regions of the southern hemisphere, South Pacific countries, Indonesia & countries around it,, Australia, New Zealand, Latin American countries, Central, southeast African countries and South Indian Ocean countries. From the middle of February, 2025 till the end of May 2025 Severe heat wave conditions with Combination of “ Sub-Tropical Cyclonic circulations and Anti-Cyclonic systems will cause Unprecedented Catastrophic floods are forecast.
