For the theologian, interpretation tends to focus on the meaning of Scripture. For the practitioner, however — aka, the ‘ordinary’ Christian — far greater emphasis falls on what she finds meaningful in or through Scripture. Typically these are contrasted as an ‘objective’ approach versus a ‘subjective’ approach. Even while the theologian is acknowledging the implausibility of a presupposition-free objective reading, to get as close as possible to it remains an implicit goal.
In how these relate to each other, the meaning of Scripture is typically seen as being at one end of a spectrum and what the practitioner finds meaningful is positioned at the other. In pneumatological terms, this may be characterised as distinguishing between the role of the Spirit ‘then’ — in breathing Scripture itself (or, breathing into Scripture) — and the Spirit’s role ‘now,’ breathing out of (or, through) Scripture.
Evangelical biblical interpretation is wary of the subjective turn in postmodernity, especially with regard to reader-response hermeneutics. Hence, subjective readings that find meaningfulness in or through a text 'now' are positioned in a subservient relationship to the objective meaning in a text ‘then.’ But are both, equally, Spirit-inspired? What is their appropriate collaboration? Should the nature of the relationship be pictured in alternative imagery?
This paper proposes a reconsideration of the relationship between Spirit-inspired meaning, in the sense of embedded information, and Spirit-inspired meaningfulness, in the sense of dynamic revelation, in God's intended modus operandi for Holy Scripture under the auspices of the Holy Spirit in the life of his Church.

John Milbank: Pantheist, Panentheist, or Classical Theist? Three Readings of John Milbank's Ontology
John Milbank: Pantheist, Panentheist, or Classical Theist? Three Readings of John Milbank's Ontology, 2021
The thesis of this paper is that while the complexity and rhetorical extremes of Milbank’s work allow for pantheistic, panentheistic, and theistic readings, his ontology is most productively read as a modified version of classical theism that successfully maintains both a strong ontological unity and the divide between creator and creation. To defend this thesis, the paper will first summarize the pantheistic reading of Milbank. Second it will introduce a distinction between three versions of autonomy and apply this to Milbank’s view to produce a version of panentheism. Finally, it will read Milbank’s ontology through the lens of his Trinitarian theology and argue that such a reading allows for an important distinction of creator and creation while maintaining a fundamental unity between them. By doing so, it will illustrate that while Milbank can be read in a variety of ways, it is most productive to read him as defending a modified version of orthodox Christian belief.

Liturgia sacra, 2019
The Memorial Acclamation (acclamation after the consecration) of the Roman rite of Mass, introduced by the Holy See in 1968, has been received in a variety of ways in different languages and local Churches.
The translations of the acclamations into modern languages have in some cases taken similar approaches while substantial changes in the texts are also noticed.
Examining three European languages into which the Memorial Acclamation has been received – English, French and Polish – the author examines the different approaches to translation and adaptation of their literary structure.
He posits influences among the languages examined, particularly focussing on the influence the French and English texts seem to have had on the Polish Missal of 1986.
To conclude, he comments on the strengths and weaknesses of the different approaches taken in receiving the Memorial Acclamation. Observing that the typical edition of the Memorial Acclamations remains incomplete (musically) fifty-one years after the acclamations were published, the author considers that reception in local churches might give guidance to further development in the typical editions of the liturgical books.

The automation of military vehicles and systems has long been a feature of warfare, but the emergence and development of ground robotics are revolutionising modern combat. Since their deployment in conflicts such as in Afghanistan and Iraq, ground robots have evolved into increasingly capable and autonomous entities integrated into military operations (Rosenberg, 2024). Fuelled by recent conflicts such as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Russia-Ukraine War, which have highlighted the significant impact of military robotics on the battlefield, interest in the further development of this field continues.
The development of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) has proceeded slowly, with ongoing challenges and questions surrounding their integration into military operations and ground forces (Gosselin-Malo, 2023). This paper aims to outline the advancements in ground robotics, explore the rationale for their increased proliferation in warfare, outline potential challenges in their widespread integration, and briefly analyse the deployment of such ordnance in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War.

In the present research, an innovative fuzzy control approach is developed specifically for synchronous buck converters utilized in renewable energy applications. The proposed control strategy effectively manages load changes, nonlinear loads, and input voltage variations while improving both stability and transient response. The method employs a fuzzy inference system (FIS) that integrates adaptive control, feedforward control, and multivariable control to guarantee optimal performance under a wide range of operating conditions. The design of the control scheme involves formulating a rule base connecting input variables to an output variable, which signifies the duty cycle of the switching signal. The rule base is configured to dynamically modify control rules and membership functions in accordance with load conditions, input voltage fluctuations, and other contributing factors. The performance of the control scheme is evaluated in comparison to conventional techniques, such as proportional integral derivative (PID) control. Results indicate that the advanced fuzzy control approach surpasses traditional methods in terms of voltage regulation, stability, and transient response, particularly when faced with variable load conditions and input voltage changes. As a result, this control scheme is highly compatible with renewable energy systems, encompassing solar and wind power installations where input voltage and load conditions may experience considerable fluctuations. This research highlights the potential of the proposed fuzzy control approach to significantly enhance the performance and reliability of renewable energy systems. Remedy of air pollution, in the light of Islamic teachings, 2021
Allah Almighty has created abundance of natural resources
(air, water, plants, and animals) for the benefit of humans.
Air is considered one of the basic necessity for life on
Earth. Air pollution is a major and serious problem of the
contemporary world. Rapidly spreading large crowded
cities, modern transport, installation of industries and
thermal power stations are the main causes of air pollution.
A large number of Industries, power-generating stations,
construction projects, brick Kilns and toxic solid wastes are
polluting the atmosphere badly. The transport like buses,
trucks, auto rickshaws, airplanes and internal combustion
engines are main sources of carbon monoxide,
hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and lead pollution in the air.
The toxic gases, smog and smoke of industries are affecting
humans, animals and plants life rapidly.Treatment devices
are not installed in industries and brick kilns to remove
harmful gases before releasing smoke into the atmosphere.

«Italian Yearbook of International Law», vol. 32, n. 1, 2022, pp. 263-279; ISSN 0391-5107., 2022
The present contribution deals with the amendment to Article 9 of the Italian Constitution introduced by Constitutional Law No. 1 of 11 February 2022 which foresees a duty for the Italian Republic to protect the environment, biodiversity and ecosystems, also in the interest of future generations. The contribution pursues a twofold objective. First, it aims to analyse the content of the reform to appraise its impact on environmental protection in the Italian legal system, also in light of the previous case law of the Italian Constitutional Court. Second, it intends to assess the influence of international (environmental) law on the amendment to the Constitution. In this respect, it will be argued that the relationship between domestic law and international law follows two main trajectories: on the one hand, the constitutionalisation of international law and, on the other, the internationalisation of constitutional law.
