This study discusses the digitalization and its impact on various sectors of Indian Economy, On July 1 st , 2015 under the leadership of honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the very first and crucial step towards "Making India Digital". This is aimed to connect the rural parts of the India with Internet Connection and make them digitally literate to understand the development happening in their own sector and to inculcate them. India is one of the fastest developing nations with a very high young population accounting to (~65%) whose age is less than 35 years. Impact of Digitalization can be clearly observed only when the Individuals are capable of understanding and adopt them, for that every individual have to be financially literate which makes them capable of making judicious decisions, post digitalization financial transactions have to be taken through internet keeping that in view digital financial literacy has become the essential knowledge, through digitalization we can change a business model and provide new revenue and value producing opportunities. This paper focusses on how Digitalization has impacted the MSME and service sectors and how implementation of industry 4.0 has not done in larger scale. Why digitalization is so important and what are the sectors got impacted and how can we as emerge 3rd largest economy in the near future and how digitalization helped in bringing the transparency in the financial transactions and raise of usage of E Wallets. Problem: India being a developing nation and facing many financial issues with roughly 70% of the population residing the rural parts of India it is slightly difficult to educate them with the Digitalization and the impacts of it. India is developing on many aspects like usage of internet etc but making them use in the right direction, which can help them in increasing their productivity and adds value to the economic front and making them financially literate is the main challenges ahead.
Technology is an important part of human life. Every action or activity of our daily life is directly or indirectly connected with the technology. We cannot visualize our life without technology. So technology is inseparable part of society. Technology is now an omnipresent component. India is a county which produces world class technical professionals especially in IT industry. India always keeps positive attitude towards technology or Digitalization. Since the time of Independence many Governments have come and gone but the focus towards technology never reduces. India is having its own social and economic problem and we are still fighting with it, but it never compromises with its commitment towards Digital Development. Now, modernization and continuous technical up-gradation is a coherent part of our civilization. India is world " s second largest Internet user country. The present Government of India has recognized the role of digitalization in global environment. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi started Digital India program in mission mode. The main motive of Digital India is to transform India into a digitally enabled society and knowledge economy by leveraging IT as a growth engine of new Indian economy. The main target of Digital Scheme is market transparency and developing India. Digitalization will be valuable for the country. It will accelerate the economic growth of the country as it provides impressive platform for speedy and transparent business transactions. Anyone can make business transaction anywhere in the world without physically being present. Digital India projects are empowering all sectors of the economy like manufacturing sector, service sector and even small industries, medium enterprises, big business units. It has been observed that Agro-Business also gets benefits of Digitalization. Thus, at one side Digital India is empowering business sector and on the other side it is providing distinguished efforts for job creation. This paper focuses on the salient features and objectives of Digital India program. This paper will describe the initiatives taken under this scheme. The paper also examines the Impact of " Digital India " on socioeconomic dimensions of the Country.
ABSTRACT It is a well-known fact that digital India is the outcome of many innovations and technological advancements. These transform the lives of people in many ways and will empower the society in a better manner. The 'Digital India' programme, an initiative of honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, will emerge new progressions in every sector and generates innovative endeavours. The motive behind the concept is to build participative, transparent and responsive system. The Digital India drive is a dream project of the Indian Government to remodel India into a knowledgeable economy and digitally empowered society, with good governance for citizens by bringing synchronization and co-ordination in public accountability, digitally connecting and delivering the government programs and services to mobilize the capability of information technology across government departments. Today, every nation wants to be fully digitalized and this programme strives to provide equal benefit to the user and service provider. Hence, an attempt has been made in this paper to understand Digital India – as a campaign where technologies and connectivity will come together to make an impact on all aspects of governance and improve the quality of life of citizens. Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. The initiative includes plans to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. Digital India consists of three core components, (a) development of secure and stable digital infrastructure, (b) delivering government services digitally, and (c) universal digital literacy.
In India, expanding web diffusion, fast innovation endorsement and high trading of specialized contraptions like cell phones, tablets, and so forth, have prompted an appealing on the web client base and exceptional development of internet business. Household strategies with respect to media transmission, money related administrations and circulation and conveyance would give contributions to online business exchange related transactions. Studies demonstrate that 2.6 employments are made by web for each occupation lost for web. Impact of internet is evaluated around two components: consumption and expenditure and supply. The consumption and expenditure is the usage by individuals, companies and government. The supply side includes the industries like telecommunication, hardware manufacturers, software and services that shape the internet world. The use of internet in business showed profitability is increased by 10% on an average across countries. Internet related business contributes 3.2% towards Indian GDP. (Alpesh Shah, 2015) .The trade balance component contributes maximum to this share. In order to take advantage of e-commerce business, there has to be a proper business model as well as other strategies so that the business is sustainable and provides economic growth. This paper features the idea of digitalization alongside the social, financial and environmental advantages of digitization on learning techniques and data maintenance. Also it studies the impact and incidence of steps taken by government in this direction so far.
Digital India is a programme to prepare India for a knowledge future. Its focus on making technology central to enabling change. Digital India is an umbrella programme that covers multiple Government Ministries and Departments. It weaves together a large number of ideas and thoughts into a single, comprehensive vision so that each of them can be implemented as part of a larger goal. Each individual element stands on its own, but is also part of the larger picture. Digital India is to be implemented by the entire Government with overall coordination being done by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology. The vision of Digital India programme is to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. Digital India aims to provide the much needed thrust to the nine pillars of growth areas, namely Broadband Highways, Universal Access to Mobile Connectivity, Public Internet Access Programme, e-Governance: Reforming Government through Technology, e-Kranti - Electronic Delivery of Services, Information for All, Electronics Manufacturing, IT for Jobs and Early Harvest Programmes. Each of these areas is a complex programme in itself and cuts across multiple Ministries and Departments.

The proportion of the Internet economy in India's technology industry will increase from 48% in 2022 to 62% in 2030. By 2023, it will account for 12–13% of India's GDP, up from 4% in 2022. The government of India came with a flagship programme namely "Digital India". Under this campaign, electronic services are being strengthened by reducing paperwork. This has turned out to be a fruitful transformation technique to take off the weight of investing time over paperwork and devoting man labor in various fields, which is effective as well as efficient. Mr. Narendra Modi, the active prime minister of India, played a crucial role in furnishing this campaign. Facilitation of E-governance being the aim by providing better e-services, boosting youth to reduce paperwork and time savage. The major idea of connecting people residing in rural areas or remote areas with urban technology was considered to be a myth. It is now success and the fulltime utilization is being minimized by providing high-speed internet services to villagers through their required work, that would be done in a single click without traveling to urban offices. Portals like M Kisan portal are serving farmers with great information regarding their crop yield, weather conditions and upgrading them with upcoming diseases are unable to fill the voids due to reduced literacy rate in India.
