The purpose of the paper you are holding will give a skeleton description and structure of the Course Repository of State University of Tetova located in Macedonia. It will try to ease the sharing of course materials, the communication between the lecturers and students and also for an effective way of teaching. With the implementation of the system the students will be able to access files that have been uploaded by the lecturers, view announcement, submit assignments and many sub functions.

This study provides a review of the literature on e-learning systems evolution and environments. The argument is that e-learning systems should be embedded in the core strategy of the institution. To support this premise, studies for e-learning are analyzed and six recommendations are drawn for universities to follow in order to have successful e-learning environments. The main contribution of this study, however, is the identification of the trends and statistics regarding the e-learning usage in the Balkan region. These stats are identified through a survey conducted in 40 universities in 10 countries from this region. The results show that more than 70% of the universities have adopted LMS, which does not fall short behind when compared with universities in the world. In Technical University in Gabrovo, Bulgaria we started a project for building an e-learning system. Our platform is based on Moodle 2.3 and it has some interesting extensions. The aim of this paper is to share our experience, starting from defining the initial need from e-learning system, to describe some technical details, encountered difficulties and the way we overcome it and the overall effect from implementation of the system.

Current demands on education make the institutions of higher education prepare flexible forms of education in full-time or part-time study. Learning is becoming more personal while becoming more connected to the surroundings and with more potential for connected, collaborative activity.The paper analyses formal requirements related to e-learning in institutions of higher education in Poland and Slovakia.
1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY E-learning is seen as an efficient tool in reform of higher education linked to Bologna process as well as in modernization of university. In order to implement e-learning, universities need to create a vision of the desired end state and develop e-learning strategy with proposed measures in that direction. Traditional, research oriented universities, like University of Zagreb, have to find the way how to maintain traditional values of university education and how to synergize them with the new kind of knowledge and skills. The aim of this paper is to describe and analyze situation on e-learning implementation at University of Zagreb and results of its progress. Implementation process was monitored through surveys which provided data on starting position and view on e-learning and present status of e-learning application. Based on received results university management was able to detect weak points and set next steps in the implementation process.
