Coming from a flourishing nation like India, Farming and Agriculture is the main source of income the recent stats shows it is about still IOT and application of automation and handheld devices engages an imperative role towards greatness and amelioration of the country. During these present times there have been some previous old methods being used in farming which have many limitations and also very demanding in terms of human labour and have to go out for supervision and check for any intruders or alerts or even to spray water. These conventional process have recurring costs and more demanding sometimes false human alarms or even a false crop information as a result substantial damages are foreseen hence it increases the costs and burden over the farmer. It has been observed that in some cases where farmers are cooperating with the technological advancements which are available in the present era have benefited from its fruitful outcome. The aim of this paper is to develop a smart farm supervision and protection system which comes in handy for getting regular farm alerts on a smart phone the alerts can be changed in the form of a text message or even an automated phone call hence the additional feature of this model is the improvement of crop growth according to different seasons and weather.

India is agriculture sector, on either side, is losing ground every day, affecting the ecosystem's output capacity. In order to restore vitality and put agriculture back on a path of higher growth, there is a growing need to resolve the issue. A large-scale agricultural system necessitates a great deal of upkeep, knowledge, and oversight. The IoT is a network of interconnected devices that can transmit and receive data over the internet and carry out tasks without human involvement. Agriculture provides a wealth of data analysis parameters, resulting in increased crop yields. The use of IoT devices in smart farming aids in the modernization of information and communication. For better crop growth moisture, mineral, light and other factors can be assumed. This research looks into a few of these characteristics for data analysis with the goal of assisting users in making better agricultural decisions using IoT. The technique is intended to help farmers increase their agricultural output.

There has always been a vital role of agriculture in country like India and issues concerning agriculture have become very common these days. Smart agriculture can act as a pillar to the development of the country. The methodology proposed in this paper gives an idea about smart agriculture using Internet of Things (IoT). IoT sensors have capability of providing meaningful information for agriculture making this concept more emerging and attractive day by day. This paper aims in making a technology which is completely automated. The paper takes care of all major factors of agriculture i.e. monitoring, irrigation and security. The methodology used in this system can monitor the humidity, moisture level and can even detect motions. According to the data received from all the sensors the water pump, cutter and sprayer get automatically activated or deactivated. The methodology not only focuses on the crop field but also takes care of the warehouse where all cultivated crops are being stored. The warehouse is embedded with various sensors which help in detection of humidity and theft. Based on the humidity sensor reading heater or cooling fan is automatically turned on. Similar way the motion sensor if detects any theft then an alarm is turned on to notify the farmer.
India, whose GDP depends on the agriculture is not a developed nation in terms of modernization in agriculture. The high cost of labor, uncertainty in the production of crops, lack of knowledge about new methods, continuing with the same orthodox and traditional means to go about agriculture, the inefficient use of proper irrigational facilities results in low productivity. Due to this uncertainty in the irrigation process the crops may also dry up. About 14.7% of India's growth depends on the agricultural sector, so it's a huge cause of concern. With this project, the current problems related to farming are solved and practically implemented solutions are provided. Using IOT as well as GSM, a whole new concept of farming using networks is introduced reducing labor, updating farmer about the live conditions of farm on the mobile devices and presenting its graphical value using thing speak. It makes the process handy with the click a button reformation. We evaluate the performance of our method in a simple temperature sensing application. In terms of reducing human efforts and ease of irrigation, our approach has been observed to outperform the existing conventional approach. We bring out the advantages and disadvantages followed by their applications. The paper concludes the work open for research.

In India, Now a day Agriculture plays the most important role for human to survive in this world. From the beginning agriculture has suffered, lots of changes to improve productivity of foods and crops. Agriculture has been affected by weather conditions such as extreme temperature and humidity. The next step is to develop the agricultural by proposing the technology called Internet of things. The solution for this problem is solved by smart agriculture monitoring system using IOT. IOT technology is the complete solution to increase the productivity of crops in agriculture. The main advantage of this project is to implement the IOT technology will optimize the usage of fertilizer , will helps to identify the weather conditions of the field by using sensors, we can also easily identify the moisture content of the soil ,will assist to provide the ripening stages of the vegetables and also helps to know the movement of the animals while entering into the field.GSM modem is used to send SMS notification which displays the current status of the agricultural fields to indicate the farmers.
Agriculture is one of the major parts of a country's economy. But recently, weather change has affected crop growth adversely and farmers are suffering. In such a situation, it is necessary for us to get smarter and be able to use the resources we have intelligently. We propose a method of farming wherein a farmer's job is reduced immensely and resources are used adequately. We aim to develop an IoT based project which will automatically do the work of irrigation on the basis of an FC-28 soil moisture sensor. We will be using machine learning to predict the possibility of a crop getting affected by a disease. This system will also provide suggestions to the farmer on how to prevent these diseases and if at all the crop gets infected, what all can he do to solve this issue. Farmer will also be notified regarding the health of the soil, on the basis of which required fertilizers can be suggested. All the sensor data can be extracted using Raspberry Pi. The farmer can get all the measured data (soil humidity, temperature, pH etc.) on the android application. This app also provides him with the ability to control the irrigation. The main target of this system is to provide farmers with a system which can help him grow a high yield of healthy crops with adequate use of resources.

The aim this project is to monitoring farm by using IOT. Emergence of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) ranging from computer-controlled water irrigation system to lightning and ventilation has changed the conventional scenario of farming. This project proposes and demonstrate an economical and easy to use arduino based controlled irrigation system. The designed system deals with various environmental factors such as moisture, temperature and amount of water required by the crops using sensors like water flow sensor, temperature sensor and soil moisture sensor. Datas are collected and received by arduino which can be linked to an interactive website which show the real time values along with the standard values of different factor required by a crop. This allows user to control irrigation pumps from far distance through a website and to meet the standard values which would help the farmer to yield maximum and quality crops. In India, farming is done by traditional method, farmer's plant crops traditionally without knowing the content of soil and quality of that soil. As a result farmers will not gain sufficient profit from there farming. Due to human intervention there are chances of human errors so farmers may receive incorrect report. So there is need of automated process for soil testing and crop prediction.
