Nowadays getting a good job is a vigorous and vast competition and many fail in the first step i.e., Resume shortlisting due to either imperfect data in the resume or imperfect/wrong resume format. Recruiter hardly takes 10-15 seconds to judge you upon your resume. In this survey paper, we point out a comparative study on different methods used for resume building and which technology is used to build them. Some of the methods use Android applications, some use Desktop applications. This paper makes a detailed analysis and talks about the merits and demerits of various Resume building methods.

Nowadays there is a tough competition for getting a job and one of the biggest trials for many job-seekers is creating the perfect resume. The resume is the very first thing that a potential employer encounters regarding an applicant and is used to screen applicants, often followed by an interview. This research paper aims to specify a method for creating resumes in a very simpler and user friendly way. We are proposing an application that will help applicants in creating resumes by simply taking their information as input. Resume builder application allows users to login/signup via OTP verification and let them create, update, delete, view and save their resume in pdf format. I. INTRODUCTION This is an application that helps us to build a resume for individuals. The system is malleable for creating an appropriate resume according to qualification by reducing the need of thinking. Usually individuals get confused while creating a resume especially fresher's who are looking for new jobs. They are not much clear about what things and information must be included in a resume. This application will provide an easy way of developing a resume that will look like a professional resume [3]. This application requires less human interruption and a user friendly app. Individuals just have to fill in the required fields of the form such as educational information, interest, skills, work experience and so on. The information given by the user will be stored in the system and generate a well-structured resume. Users will be able to create a resume in any format. The proposed application will reduce the manual work of individual as a person can get his resume in a formal format without any issues just by using this resume builder application. It is mainly focused on format by simply choosing the desired template and giving some necessary details to the application and the resume builder app will process this raw information into the finished resume easily [3].

Due to the increasing growth in online recruitment, traditional hiring methods are becoming inefficient, the problem noticed in India related to the employment is that there are plenty of jobs especially in the IT sector but most of the candidates are not eligible for the particular job. The candidate's resumes are very unstructured and the skills they include in their resume are not verified through a trusted sources which makes difficult for the recruiters to select the proper candidate s per the particular designation, Recruiters of big tech giants uses ATS(Application Tracking System) to sort the large number of candidates resumes for particular job designation. To overcome this problem. The solution is building a well-structured machine learning web-app platform which can make structured verified resume and portfolio for ease of recruiters The proposed System, Real Resume-A Web App for Building Resume and Portfolio, is a machine learning based platform to create structured resume of the candidates by verifying their skill sets and applying the ATS guidelines to the resume so that it can be passed through strict ATS software. The resume will be verified by taking mock test of a particular skill included by the candidate using machine learning. As the resume is verified on the platform itself, It will be shown up in the feed section of the recruiters and platform will categorize the candidates as per the requirement of the recruiters. Benefit of this platform is ease of recruitment for the recruiters since it skilled verified candidates will be there for a particular job designation.

The Resume Analyser is a streamlit-based web application that analyzes an uploaded resume in the format of pdf and extracts information. It returns a resume score based on the presence of key elements such as a declaration, a list of hobbies, and qualifications. This analyzer reduces the need for people to manually check their resumes and gives them confidence in their resumes. This analyzer works using natural language processing and text mining to deduce information from the resume.

Recruiting candidates to fit a particular job profile is a task crucial to most of the companies. Due to increasing growth in online recruitment, traditional hiring methods are becoming inefficient. The conventional techniques usually include a laborintensive process of manually searching through the applied candidates, reviewing their resumes, and then producing a shortlist of suitable candidates to be interviewed. In this era of technology, job searching has become smarter and more accessible at the same time. The companies receive enormous numbers of resumes/CVs, which are not always structured. There have been lots of work done for the job searching process. Whereas, the process of selecting a candidate based on their resume has not been entirely automated.

Due to the constant growth in online recruitment, job portals receive numerous resumes. Accordingly, recruiting candidates to fit in a particular job profile is crucial to most companies. In the era of technology, job selection has become smarter and more accessible. Companies receive enormous numbers of Resumes, which are not always structured. There has been lots of work done for the job searching process. Whereas, the process of selection of candidates based on their resume has not been automated. This research proposes a model of extracting valuable information from the resume and ranking it according to the preference and requirement of the company. This assists in minimizing the effort required by the employers to manage and organize resumes, as well as screen out irrelevant candidates. To achieve the desired result, the entire process has been divided into segments. The first segment comprises of changing over the unstructured resumes in organized information utilizing NLP, and the subsequent section comprises the extraction stage, where the relevant data is extricated. This extracted information is then evaluated by passing it through the Ranking Mechanism which consists of the dynamic ranking formula. After evaluation, an identifier value is assigned to each resume to give a ranked resume in the final segment.
We all know that job market is getting tougher day by day. 20-33% out of the 1.5 million engineering graduates passing out every year runs the risk of not getting a job at all. In such scenarios, nobody can ever underestimate how important it is to have a good screening process. A screening interview is a type of job interview that is conducted to determine if the applicant has the qualifications needed to do the job for which the company is hiring. That's why we developed web based application for the resume analysis. When a company is giving a requirement and requires the resumes, the company receives thousands of resumes. The problem persisting here is, it's very difficult for the Manager or the concerned authorities to go through each and every parameter of the resume and then select the candidates, for the interview.
