Recruitment and selection of competent personnel are essential for the ongoing success of any project based organization (PBO). The key issue for decision making in personnel recruitment is selection of the right person to the right job. Although both are closely interrelated parts of a multistage decision process, recruiting activities generate applicants for jobs, and selection decisions must then be made that attempt to choose the subset of applicants, or the applicant, most likely to succeed. The main objective of this study is to develop a model based on PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation) method for ranking personnel selection criteria. In this study, a decision making methodology is designed that employs PROMETHEE in order to help the personnel selection process. In this respect, the aim of using the PROMETHEE technique is taken into account to assess and rank the importance of criteria.

One of the important decisions which impacts all firms’ activities is the supplier selection problem. Since the 1950s, several works have addressed this problem by treating different aspects and instances. In this paper, a combined multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) technique (EA-PROMETHEE) has been applied to implement a proper decision making. To this aim, after reviewing the theoretical background regarding to supplier selection, the extension analysis (EA) is used to determine the importance of criteria and PROMETHEE for appraisal of suppliers based on the criteria. An empirical example illustrated the proposed approach.

The organization Performance management is an important component that directly affects the total performance of the organization and the competitive environment. Hence, manager(s) performance is one of the most important functional parts of an organization. Senior manager(s) decisions are one of the most important factors affecting the organization performance management. In this paper, organization performance management is evaluated using criteria derived from Balanced Scorecard. The purpose of this paper is to prioritize alternatives related to manager(s) performance in an organization using multi-criteria decision-making, i.e. PROMETHEE, ELECTRE, and TOPSIS and provide a model for it. Mean Maximum-Minimum Square Ranks method is proposed to combining the results obtained from applying multi-criteria decision-making methods. Also, roadmaps are presented for alternatives with higher priority for the organization. The proposed model provides the possibility of solving issues relate...

Developing technology causes companies in a market to compete with each other in challenging ways. In addition to a holistic marketing concept which focuses on the needs of target markets and delivering superior value, marketing should be adapted with new technology to fulfill consumer needs. Although many strategies have been introduced for marketing, digital marketing or marketing 4.0 is a new generation of marketing that engages with the audience through digital tools. These days, online shopping is only too popular among consumers. Many factors which affect customer decision during online shopping have been explored. In this paper, the effect of promotion items in online shopping will be explained. The main aim of this paper is to apply a multi-criteria decision-making technique in prioritizing eleven promotion items by considering five online customer shopping criteria. The novelty of this paper is to apply PROMETHEE II (Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment of ...

Project management in the construction industry is generally based on a detailed decision analysis, as the decisions made today are crucial for achieving project goals in the future. This is particularly important in early project phases without reducing the importance of decision-making throughout the project life-cycle. Fundamental reasons for the existence of decision-making problems in civil engineering arise from: specific conditions of the construction industry (the final products are inseparable from the location, i.e. the location has a strong influence on the building design and its structural characteristics as well as on the technology used during construction), the wishes and attitudes of investors, and the influence of socio-economic and environmental aspects. Therefore, as Marović and Hanak (2017) argued, decision-making can be considered a critical success factor in construction management, as decisions drive projects from start to finish. To solve such problems, the ...

PROMETHEE (for enrichment assessment) Priority ranking system Method) method is an efficient is supportive of decision making during defined criteria Used. This is PROMETHEE I.A partial ranking by, PROMETHEE I Provides complete ranking with. Scale between criteria eliminating effects and comprehensive managing incompatibility with rankings This superior method is characterized by. However, PROMETHEE does not provide guidelines for assigning weights to criteria and considers that decision makers can assign weights. PROMETHEE used in this review traffic provides an overview of samples and found in the literature Indicates gaps.

An integrated fuzzy multi-criteria decision making methodology for material handling equipment selection problem and an application2010 •
Material handling equipment selection problem (MHESP) is an important decision making area for the companies, since it has a direct effect on manufacturing and service productivity. In this study, an integrated fuzzy multi-criteria decision making methodology for MHESP is proposed. The proposed approach is utilized from fuzzy sets, Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluations (PROMETHEE) approaches. Evaluation criteria for the MHESP is weighted by fuzzy-ANP (F-ANP) approach, then, alternative material handling equipments are evaluated by fuzzy-PROMETHEE (F-PROMETHEE) approach. The methodology is applied for a manufacturing company to prove its effectiveness. Finally, some sensitivity analyses are conducted to show the results’ sensitiveness to the changes of the weights of the evaluation criteria.
