Bologna Agreement

Beginning with a presentation on the European Union agreement on high education signed in 1999, the Bologna Agreement, there will be a revision of various topics, on the agreement itself, its relationship with the French and German university models, the origin and current functioning of these models, and the international student movement. It also brings the concept �Students Movement� defined by the author, the neoliberalism, and the roll of the art schools inside universities, in order to conclude that, among others, the Bologna Agreement is a neoliberal agreement against artistic experimentation rather tends to have artistic products �and all the university�s products- as commodities that give corporate status to the university.

Cooperation among European universities and creation of conditions for higher mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff, imposes the need to incorporate quality assurance into the processes of higher education. Quality assurance is a pre-determined and generally accepted procedure, which stresses the proactive involvement. Quality assurance contributes to the rational use of available sources in course of the higher education process that tends to satisfy different stakeholders: students, their families, employers, professional associations, and state.
